Jesse Livingston - The Blight Forest

This week's fan build is from Jesse Livingston (@hiddenmanna on Discord and Reddit) titled "The Blight Forest."

While painting his own forest pieces, he realized he could make a fun adventure out of mixing painted and unpainted tiles!

Here is what he says about the build:
"I was halfway done painting my Dreadhollow Forest and wanted to build something. At first, the unpainted pieces were intermingled throughout the painted pieces. But then it struck me... how could I use the unpainted pieces to create a story? The result: The Blight Forest.

"The players have been hired by a local village to find a missing woman who was last seen collecting herbs in a nearby forest. Upon looking out through, what first appears to be a normal forest, they see a blight has taken over the forest, leaving it black and diseased.

"Giant spiders roam around with glowing red eyes. A strange glowing eye peers out across the forest and a large tree in the back glows red. And of course, my kids had to include giant butterflies...

"In the distance a woman is trapped inside a hedge of black thorns. A giant spider reaches out as she recoils in fright.

"To the right, a lone cluster of mushrooms sits in shallow water. Strangely, the forest surrounding the mushrooms appears to have been unaffected by the blight.

"Our two headed Alligator lurks in the distance...

"But should the glowing eye see the players come near the mushrooms, it will signal the butterflies and spiders to attack!

"Will the players save the woman and heal the forest? What strange powers might these magical mushrooms contain??"
