Re: Naeblis Dwarven Forge Universe

Say, you sass that hoopy Naeblis and his story about becoming a Dwarven Forge fan? There’s a frood who really knows where his Douglas Adams is.

And I look forward to more pics!

Re: Find the Necronomicon ex mortis...

I know some of the Thomarillion shelves feature scrolls and other arcane items more heavily than books. They aren’t exclusively scrolls, but they’re not just bookshelves either. And ofc Nolzur/Pathfinder has a customizable library - blank shelves you can either add books to or place doors on or turn...

Re: Prison Pit of the Abyss

Ha! Yeah, several years ago I posted a thread somewhere on here with toy dioramas, just to point out my other hobby and stuff I like to photograph. Then the forums encountered some kind of bug or hack and all the photo threads got merged somehow. Even pics the original posters didn’t upload got pull...

Re: Still excited for Caverns

I’m happy to report that I remain giddy about KS6, which is often not the case for me. DF is so all-consuming I tend to hibernate between binges - plus I get busy with life and stuff, and when nothing new is coming out I tend to just move on. I’ve stopped putting together new dungeons and even shift...

Re: How Long Does it Go On?

Damn, now I’m nostalgic for the 90’s. (Disclaimer: I AM ALWAYS NOSTALGIC FOR THE 90’S) The 90's in Boston/Cambridge was a heyday for our RPG group. During the winter months, I had a lot of Harvard Sq. Pit Rats showing up at my door to come in from the cold (literally), and I would DM games of D&D, ...

Re: How Long Does it Go On?

Yup. Pandemonium moved to a great space near Central. Compleat moved from vaguely near Berkeley to near BU, then shut down altogether. And Tokyo Kid closed up shop, I think. :/

Re: Night at the Museum

Outstanding! Man I’m glad I checked out the forum this morning! These are stellar! I love the combination of resin and Dwarvenite. And the use of ROTA is really inspired! I love how it all coheres - sometimes these large combo builds can end up looking a little cluttered and ramshackle but this look...

Re: Lost World Builder

Whoa!!! * cards down, backs away from the table * I’m done. I’m out. I bow to the master.

That is a PHENOMENAL build. The pics are great, too - really spooky atmosphere. This looks like an incredibly fun area to explore.

Re: How Long Does it Go On?

The very first DF I ever bought was a single bling piece completely impractical without more, and I didn’t care. My wife and I were walking home from the MFA, spring of 2001, and I stopped in the Compleat Strategist on Mass Ave on a whim (“I used to play D&D!”). There was a DF dungeon on display, in...
