Re: My Great Lament of KS VI

I like the old girl (built in 1881), but nothing is easy to repair and she needs lots of maintenance.

Re: My Great Lament of KS VI

High cost of living in DC wastelands and a unique old Victorian house where everything costs more. Dont mind the A/C bill. It's just the terrible timing. :(

My Great Lament of KS VI

So, during all the celebrating Tuesday, I sat in my hot southern house with the A/C kaput. My pledge took a full spread of HVAC torpedoes to the tune of $10K while I watched dreams of cavern goodness cave-in. I bought a 2x3 at Target this morning to test out. I am going to spray it with a textured black spray paint and mottled it with gray and browns.

Re: Pre-shipment Notification

I received my second box too. This includes Burrows (so cool), Puzzle room (very slick), Eldritch Pools (my favorite) and some other bits. Really loving the terrain tiles. I am going to buy a large magnetic white board to make building large magnetized dungeons even easier.

Re: Dreadhollow Forest - Gorgeous - But....

I wonder why people worry so much about transitioning from the table to the tile. It does not bother me at all. After all I cannot map out my whole world with DF at once. Nobody is asking to map out their whole world at once - just a decent sized map to play on. I have lots of 4' x 6' table covers ...

Re: A warning from History.......

Personally, I hope the next KS has a heavy thumb on city stuff. Lots of architectural elements could add a lot: pillars, facades, roofs, temple elements, wooden buildings, moats/canals, etc.

Re: Forest pricing

It would be great if we had a Wargamer's Forest pack with trees and stumps in quantity. It’s already pretty easy to purchase them in a 2:1:1 ratio of Scatter Pack:Large Trees:Small Trees which matches things up perfectly. Or did you just mean Megapack style for some discount? Is there something els...
