Re: Leveling Up!

The low slope, 14 degrees, should be shallow enough that miniatures will stay in place on that angle. That seems to be about half of the normal ramp angle for other DF parts and those can often have minis sliding on them I have found. Why not include stairs? The 4 inch bed may require multi parts b...

Re: Leveling Up!

Why not make a two by eight inch wedge with correctly beveled edges on the 3D printer?

Re: Kickstarter 7 teaser?

If DF does medieval mines I am all in, if they do them old west or more modern like other terrain companies, NO THANKS. I recall you mentioning medieval mines before. What do they look like? Very similar to Ancient Roman mines. Unlike the more modern mines you see in old west movies they would not ...

Re: Kickstarter 7 teaser?

The components are The glass shards from Michael's. They come in colors.I used glitter glue. Oh, I was wrong - my guess was Secret Weapon's Crushed Glass glued into clumps. The Secret Weapon's Crushed Glass makes good snow.I wanted something in between the small crystals and sand. The craft product...

Re: Kickstarter 7 teaser?

Mr. Oldent, If you might, perchance, have a bit of free time, do feel very welcome to tell us (whatever you may) about your adventures in the mining of such beautiful crystals! Thanks! - Riley http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae283/CRTraylor3499/LED/IMG_3530.jpg The components are The glass shard...

Re: Kickstarter 7 teaser?

I love these as well! A swampy Cave Mouth (like CD) is a must! And while we could use the existing wooden CBS wall pillars, it would be great to get new "timber" style (rough cut logs) to go with the wooden and earthen walls we're envisioning here. In keeping with their approach of altern...

Re: Ideal Ratio of Walls to Floors to Corners

Thanks Oldent, I'm emerald with envy. http://www.hirstarts.com/molds/m43.pdf I think that is one of Mike's molds I only had eight. I have most of the field stone molds. Mike has the G...

Re: Ideal Ratio of Walls to Floors to Corners

So that design throws the whole wall to floor ratio question into a serious flux!!!! The next scenario the DM has in mind will be worse. I am not sure I have enough round large rooms. https://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae283/CRTraylor3499/KSV/IMG_3516.jpg http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae283/C...

Re: Ideal Ratio of Walls to Floors to Corners

https://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae283/CRTraylor3499/KSV/IMG_3512.jpg I primed enough columns. I will finish them tonight. http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae283/CRTraylor3499/KSV/IMG_3511.jpg I will order the vaulted diagonal tiles when they become available.I think the classic will work fine...
