Re: Fix warped parts? How to

pacarat wrote "The one I have from E1 has the two uprights leaning out away from the insert." The same thing with this one. The miniature bases keep the clamps from marking the PVC. Re: Fix warped parts? How to

I have been lucky with Dwarven Forge and have not had to adjust many parts. It is in the nature of plastic to warp. http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae283/CRTraylor3499/tips/IMG_2560.jpg This Double Door section is too large for hobby size clamps.I clamped it between two bench dogs .I used two min...

Re: Glitterwalls

I use clear nail polish occasionally as a glossy cover. In a while there will probably be lots of solutions. Now I have the image of a Minotaur Lord doing his hooves and nails. ;) http://i980.photobucket.com/albums/ae283/CRTraylor3499/miniature%20photos/IMG_2559.jpg None of mine have clear nail pol...

Re: Glitterwalls

Has anyone tried to strip the glitter coat off? I have not. The paint/varnish is not acrylic. The solvent that would remove it would also attack the pvc. A wetting agent like simple green or pine sol might work over time. It would be much simpler to seal it with mod podge.Spray sealer would not be ...
