Re: How to wash electrical pieces?

I can't speak for your pooling issues, but I seem to remember during a description of the factory process that the PVC polymer doesn't require a releasing agent from the molds, and all pieces are now put in a water bath immediately after coming out of the mold to cool in order to avoid warping issu...

Re: How to wash electrical pieces?

Just wipe the whole piece down with a damp sponge instead of using running water. These Are the droids you're looking for. Damp sponge is fine, I haven't accidentally killed any electronics this way. I can't believe you guys don't rinse your dwarvenite - I had release agent/pooling issues with all ...

Re: Twitch Launch

It's not for me, but I think it's a useful endeavor.
This helps make DF a presence in the (booming) 5e gaming community. Shoulder to shoulder with the big players.

Also, I think it's funny that they have a show.

Re: Does anyone collect DF who doesn't game/dnd?

RPG's & Wargames, for me.

Building for Wargames is a bit different, as I want to cover the board entirely from end to end, whereas RPGs have more twists, turns, nooks, and crannies. I enjoy building both styles.

Re: Deformed Dreadhollow forest bank

I've had difficulty catching some of the DoD add on packs from the day they hit the store - I never saw (all unpainted) Vaulted Diagonal Walls, Vaulted Walls, Vaulted Corners, or The Antechamber (Forgotten Temple starter), and I 'e-mail tagged' them all. Dungeon Floor packs are finally back in stock...

Re: Some KSVI Painting

Definitely rinse the new pieces (warm water, touch of soap) before painting - makes a huge difference.
I wash them right after unboxing, before they get mixed in with general population. That way I don't wind up with surprises at the painting table.

Re: Did Caverns Deep really have the basic needs?

The thing to remember is that us DooFers are hardened DF builders and are used to building off-piste so to speak, so want maximum diversity and compatibility, we subscribe to that, and its frustrating when you can’t quite find the pieces you need. DF do a decent job allowing you to get smaller sets...
