Re: What's your KS6.66 budget, that you probably won't keep to?

I'm hoping to stay sub $300. The key for me to stay close to budget is to limit the scope of what I'm getting. First, I like more natural terrain, so I'm going to skip most of the Hell stuff and just focus on natural lava pieces. I'm also going to skip the lava rivers (as amazing as they are) since ...

Re: Floor Pack

Hellscape is a Caverns expansion, but to maximize it's usefulness I want to also use it for outdoor lava terrain. That means that Floor add-on Packs are more valuable to me than cavern wall packs. The Spouted Lava floor pack is my favourite add-on thus far, and a great addition to the Crucible Chamb...

Re: The total positive topic on what you like in KS6.66

I skipped lava in KS2 because in my mind it's a specialty terrain that I almost never need in our gaming, and yet I'm backing this project. Why? This is honestly the best-looking terrain I've seen yet from DF, and that's saying a lot. The glowing lava is a brilliant idea, and it looks absolutely ama...

Re: can't afford these anymore.

I feel for you @artcwolf . I can also relate. The strain of the past 2-3 kickstarters made me realize that I'm no longer the DF target audience. Was hard to swallow at first, and especially odd given that I'm in 3 groups playing weekly and the only one who has table top terrain, but it is what it i...

Re: can't afford these anymore.

This one isn't to high in price? That's the exact pledge I'm going for. The key is to not be a completionist and except that you can't get everything. I wanted a little bit of lava to spice up my Caverns and outdoor builds, and I think that pledge combined with a few add-ons will be perfect. I put ...

Re: Wood palisade fence

I wanted a palisade too, and I also got burned by Dark Age Outpost. It's my only complete non-delivery and non-refund on 62 KS projects so that's not too bad. I also keep my pledges small for new companies just in case. I did have other KS projects (e.g. Journey: Wrath of Demons) where the creators ...

Re: Hellscape at DnD live 2019

Everything looked outstanding in that video. Masterpieces! I am curious how this will all be packaged for the Kickstarter. A full selection of everything there would be a pricey mega-encounter. I hope it will be broken up into smaller encounters/pledges. As amazing as everything is, I would love to ...

Re: Kickstarter 6.66

I'm super excited for this Kickstarter. I've dreamed of smaller DF KS projects for a while. If this Hellscape were part of Caverns Deep, I would have needed to skip it for budget reasons the same way I skipped Burrows, the Forsaken Temple, Ice Catacombs, Crystal Caverns and Underdoom. The scope of t...

Re: Axe N Shield Terrain Risers KS

I just found this KS and I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. It looks like the risers have 3 main uses: Flying creatures, Floating/raised sections within a DF build, and completely layered DF builds. Am I getting the basic idea? The layered builds seems like a big investment. I think the Cor...

Re: The Path to El Dorado

I have some of the Egyptian ones, and I`m very happy with them. The quality and level of detail on my sets were very good. As a DF collector, they have the 2 main features that I look for: 1) They are a similar scale and compatible to mix with DF 2) They cover a cool theme not already covered by DF ...
