Re: Twitch Launch

Putting together complex DF builds in unusual or unconventional ways, either pre-planned offstream or "riffing" on the fly. I would be more interested in talk of what is going on at DF. Stories and the like. Maybe some previews of new stuff. I would be interested in some combination of these two.

Re: To Do List for Dwarven Forge

But we agree that any major update to CBS will give us encounters based upon building types, which should have unique features, roofs, Doorways and doors, furniture. Yeah I wouldn't mind some variety, so long as it comes with some pictures because it will probably be more complicated. Totally agree...

Re: To Do List for Dwarven Forge

If KS8 is a return to cities and castles or village and towns and DF continues to do KSs with the encounter model as I expect them to. I think you, Tyrant will get something close to what you are hoping for. Yeah I am hoping that the shift towards the encounter format will see that result. I'm hone...

Re: To Do List for Dwarven Forge

Something I would like to see would be premade buildings (presumably using KS III pieces, and possibly KS IV) in the vein of the new Castle sets and the Cottages. -Tavern: This is probably the easiest one. They probably already have the basic bits and the decorative accessories to do this. Probably ...

Re: Does anyone collect DF who doesn't game/dnd?

When I started buying DF I wasn't playing the D&D RPG. I was playing the D&D Miniatures Skirmish game though. I originally bought a few of the resin sets in the hope that I could use them for the skirmish game but I couldn't convince my friend to use anything other than the official maps so I ended ...

Re: So - what will people get from the store?

I'll probably try to focus on the things that I think will be stocked once and then not seen for months or more like the drift stones and some of the dressing pieces and other add-ons. After that, and possibly after I catch up on numerous things I still need to get from the First, Second, and Fifth ...

Re: How did you get into Dwarven Forge?

I started playing a superhero based game called Heroclix when it first came out in, I believe, 2003. I played it mainly due to the properties, Marvel and DC. The game itself was okay, but had limitations. Then my friend and I that I mainly played with noticed the D&D skirmish game. After buying a fe...

Re: Wildlands Survey

I appreciate the opportunity to take surveys like this to help convey thoughts on future offerings. The only comment on the survey itself is that I wish there were a few more areas to elaborate on our choices/thoughts. I think this would help contextualize the choices, but I understand it would also...

Re: Any ETA on the June restock?

I am curious what prevents you from putting money aside towards 2 sets of KS II Water Caverns during non-virtually-broke times? I'm not Tyrant, but I just want to say this could be a personal question that others have no business knowing. Yes, it would be financially prudent to plan, but are one's ...

Now I'm just curious to know what the next non-initial CD restock will be :)
Hopefully it includes the KS II Water Cavern set and hopefully I can get 1 or 2 this time and it won't hit while I am virtually broke.
