Re: Dungeon Rugs KS

I've got these (for castle decor purposes) and they're lovely. Thin and flat and look right scale-wise.

Re: Blackest Black Paint, 3.0

FWIW, Semple's studio does make high-quality stuff. I have Black 2.0 and it's a great complement to Pokorny black since that's so glossy. OTOH, Black 3.0 looks only a few degrees better than Black 2.0 which you can buy right now without waiting.

Re: What Kind of Fabric Do You Use to Cover and Unveil your Dungeons?

My favorite is actually just a purple bedsheet made of bamboo fabric. It's dark and has a nice sheen and is purple :), also lightweight and easy to stretch and bunch, and doesn't knock things over just lying on them. For smaller areas I use a pillowcase of the same material.

Re: My DF custom village

This is beautiful and super inspiring! I love your beautifully colored roofs and all the little additions you've made -- can you mention how you made/found some of those additions like the curved gable and the little boxy thing that comes out from one of the DF walls? I am now freshly motivated to g...

Re: Rescuing delaminated resin water tiles with Vitrail/Prisme paints

So, a bit of bad news, the fix isn't stable. https://www.dropbox.com/s/06wnejnk8rub5ib/2018-12-27%2022.05.01.jpg?raw=1 https://www.dropbox.com/s/06wnejnk8rub5ib/2018-12-27%2022.05.01.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/d6oxfyqvf01z7is/2018-12-27%2022.05.11.jpg?raw=1 https://www.dropbox.com/s/d6oxfyqv...

Re: Rescuing delaminated resin water tiles with Vitrail/Prisme paints

As an update, I've tried to duplicate @pacarat's method and it does work quite well. Re: Rescuing delaminated resin water tiles with Vitrail/Prisme paints

Not to be critical but I think I would prefer the tile if the fix made it look a lot closer to the original I agree myself! I need to get more colors to get the color match right. But I figured it was worth posting to show that the other qualities of the paint work reasonably well (the translucency...

I have tried with some success to get green ink flowing into the delaminated area.

It cuts down on that bright light greenish delamination.

Chromatic orb with hot glue

While I'm posting, here's a fun thing to do with a Chromatic Orb: hot glue! I drew strands of glittery purple hot glue over the orb, painted the spaces in between with Pokorny black and Green Stuff World's colorshifting paint (Green Goblin) and voila, you get this really cool effect of glowing veins...
