Re: KS8 pricing

So here are Tudor examples from Chester and Colchester in the UK.

So we think scaling these down will look too 'busy', also worth noting Tudor style buildings in the UK are nearly all white walls and black beams.

We did find the last one but cannot source its location.

Re: Boat items in KS8?

I think there are two main issues with the idea of selling individual parts. First, the molds they use are big and make lots of pieces at once, so every time they want some of piece A they also get a bunch of piece B, C, D, etc. If they sold them individually they risk ending up with growing stockp...

Re: Docks... and beaches!

Love that boat and how you can use it as a ghost boat and or a wreck in 2 parts, we magnetised ours so we can easily move it around the table.

Thinking of airbrushing on some Nihilakh Oxide for that more ghostly feel.

Re: KS8 pricing

Grumpy looked at your picture then the Coaching Inn in the TTW website and it just confirms our irritation. The sculpt look great and super detailed but its just too 'quirky' which is a good way to describe it. The KS Church looks much better and less quirky and should compliment our GW mausoleum :)

Re: Docks... and beaches!

So we got that GW kit and we have the Amera moldings pyramid. https://live.staticflickr.com/1727/42144055684_900eb00a0c_b.jpg ... That's awesome looking! I made one for GW lizard men back in the 1900s. I am trying to pull together a Stargate game and that is the ticket. Love DUST - must resist the ...

Re: Dwarvenite Sci Fi Set

Floating rocks and alien flora and now the link is made! We saw Avatar again a few years ago before we did the whole Florida Disney World thing in 2019, the ride is amazing assuming half of it does not break down and turn the queue into a day long event! The ride is worth it mind ;) But the whole Pa...

Re: Docks... and beaches!

Are not Pyramids tombs?

What architectural feature defines a tomb?

Underground?
Absence of light?
Hard to get to?
Full of dead people?

Apparently a tomb is just a repository for the remains of the dead

Re: Docks... and beaches!

I would plea to Rabbit Burner about how awesome a 40k layout could be with beaches and Wildlands/Cities/Castles all coming together. Seems like a match made in heaven. Plea all you want :) Not sure how big a table you think we have to include all that! Honestly 3D desert not working for us, we have...

Re: KS8 pricing

Top work William :) We have to admit to a frustration of building models having bases, this starts to make them of limited use if it bothers you have a grass verge around your building when you want to put it in a city or in a dirt street frontier town etc. For buildings, bases seem completely un ne...
