Re: Advanced city pieces

Agreed with Rabbit. Every time I see Elye's Griffintamer temple front in yet another DF beauty shot (last seen in the Avernus build) it reminds me of how much more I'd like Temple and other themed structural pieces.

Re: Two Hellscape Gates!!!

The two gates fill two roles (Castle-height and dungeonish-height) and are my minimum pledge. I'm trying not to give up and just get the gates and hang the rest. Wallet keeps reminding me that it is less than a year until Wildlands.

Re: Hellscape - How Much Is Enough?

I've been reminded in this KS more than anything, that what looks "small" and "limiting" on my computer screen is 2+ hours of combat encounters moving at maximum 3 + 8 year old kid speed (let alone adults if you throw in puzzles and traps to slow them down). I agree that the 3rd Layer of Hell is a r...

Re: Stefan sketching in.. Iceland? Beans??

If Stefan is as enthusiastic about travel as he's always been about DF (and we know he is!) we'll all be buying plane tickets soon. He's been using #destinationfantastic a good bit.

I don't suppose this suggests anything to anyone? Considering he also likes to show pictures and videos of a certain bridge in Venica that ended up in KS4...

Re: Advanced city pieces

I'd like some CBS style pieces that compliment rural settings and expand CBS builds. There are plenty of times my PCs are in villages and/or farms where the very regular CBS buildings don't quite fit. Not sure how far they could go with interiors without swamping the cost. I'd have a hard time split...

Re: Water features (based on what we've seen on KS6.66)

You know what only a water tile could do?

White water. Swift courses. Gushing waterfalls (with secret entrance behind them!)

Try that with flat negative space.

Re: Water features (based on what we've seen on KS6.66)

The big difference with banks is that they provide width for free. ... I totally agree with everything you said except "negative space its free" as you still pay something for the negative space, but just not as much. I love the magma tiles and think that they can and should do something for simila...

Re: Water features (based on what we've seen on KS6.66)

The big difference with banks is that they provide width for free. Once you set up a linear length of banks, it doesn't matter how wide you make the negative space. With tiles, you still have to fill in. This is even more true for a coastline where there is no opposite shore: you'd need a LOT of til...
