Re: Wildlands Survey

I put in for a new Erinthor straight piece. Yeah, "one piece..." took it very literally.

Re: Flashback, er, Wednesday! DF city...preview

So far all DF has given us is the Gable Roof. We need more variety. But not all of those, some of those are horrible designs. Butterfly is O.K. today, but without rubberized roofing materials ' for-get-it '. Not to mention you couldn't (shouldn't?) build butterfly roofs in snowy places... like fant...

Re: My first Erinthor Mountain Build

Great build! I love how easy Erinthor makes it to make a lot of really scenic terrain. We were quite staggered at the difference in colour of the first picture to the rest, its much bluer. Amazing what a difference the viewing angle makes. Don't be so sure it wasn't an automatic color balance by the...

Re: Splitting Wildlands? Great idea!

One has to wonder seeing all of Stefan's posts about his new house. Something must be going very right! He inherited the house. He’s been pretty up-front about finances: his parents had money. That’s how he could afford to be an artist in Brooklyn. He moved out of NYC to save money. (he may have in...

Re: Splitting Wildlands? Great idea!

It's been a constant fear on these forums since KS3 that DF is putting too much risk on these kickstarters hitting a certain threshold, and if they don't the company could be in jeopardy. So far they've been ok, but when they require something like $2-3 million to "break even" it sure is humbling t...

Re: Adventure packs

For me adventure packs are essential offerings that work for any size collection, while core and encounter packs are going to be more optional when you're expanding existing lines (dungeons, CBS, caverns...) I get the feeling that core packs get marked up a little less in the webstore than others to...

Re: What the H*** did I just buy?

The only thing I've regretted so far is not spending more during KS for everything but castles. Oh castles. So great. So fiddly. My pledge looks to be about the median of all of the ones posted so far.

Went big on banks and leaned towards lava rivers. Might regret not adding a Risers pack.
