Re: Plants

William, was it you that mentioned LED light bulbs one could plug into regular sockets but whose color could be electronically controlled? If so I'd like a source or keywords. Little luck in searches. TLW I got some remote controlled PAR30 LEDs on ebay for pretty cheap. What you want will depend on...

Re: Rangers of Shadow Deep

We began the new campaign, Burning Light, this evening. The rangers are exploring a ruined convent in search of a healing relic called the Decanter of St. Emilia. Given a choice of several areas in which to start exploring, we chose the ruined chapel, which is described as follows: This tower once s...

Re: FIX for the Gatehouse hinges

This is a good idea. Probably would work for the DoD double doors, too. I wish I had any confidence in my ability to drill straight.

For your enjoyment, the colossal advanced overworms... https://i.imgur.com/ckyx1bG.jpg There were 4 of them, each taking up 30'x30' in game terms (6"x6" on the table). In D&D 3.5 terms, they are CR19 creatures, making the encounter EL23, although I've found those numbers aren't necessarily a good me...

Re: Lashonna's Dungeon

Depending on character level and gear out and the system used, I could see that. Especially if the Pit Fiend does not have the option to flee or get away in any manner, which might be its issue if it was summoned and commanded to do X, such as defend this alter, or something like that. Any powerful...

Re: Lashonna's Dungeon

My players finished exploring this dungeon yesterday. Here are a couple of action photos. Fighting vampire shadowdancers in the guardroom. One of the vampires was Vulras, a guy the party had met many sessions ago, before he became a vampire. After killing him, the party returned him to life with tru...

Re: Rangers of Shadow Deep

Some pictures from the final two scenarios of the first campaign. In Mission 3: Descent into Darkness, Scenario 2: Swamplands there's a bit of a swamp at the bottom of the stairs from the previous scenario. The darker green section is deep water where the heroes have to swim. The lighter green is wa...

Re: Rangers of Shadow Deep

Two more scenarios were successfully completed last night. In Mission 2, Scenario 3: Tor Varden, the Upper Level, the top of the tower is surrounded by a rickety wooden platform. A captured soldier is chained to a pile of wood and the nearby Shadow Knight threatens to set it alight. We got lucky wit...

Re: City and Castle compatibility with Dungeon of Doom and Caverns Deep

The Erinthor mountains set is on the same scale as the city and castle stuff, so you're likely to have the same results integrating those: a little off, but not so bad you won't use it. At least, that's my experience.
