Re: Building with the Elevation Platform Lid
I used one in a build years ago. My least wobbly one. The odd lighting is intentional. I set my overhead LEDs to green for much of the adventure. It's at the center of the build, but I didn't take any close ups of that part of the dungeon. You can see it on the edges of some of the other shots, tho...

Building with the Elevation Platform Lid
During tonight's On the Anvil, someone asked for pictures of builds using the elevation platform lid, so I thought I would start the topic! Here is my Classic: dwarven temple using elevation platform lid 960.jpg dwarven temple using elevation platform lid top down 960.jpg Now I'll try to create some...

Re: Golden Soft Gel Gloss
I have found that to be an issue with Golden finishes in general...even the matte finishes tend to foam up unless you use an airbrush.

Re: Painting Fog Monster terrain to Match KS6 Caverns Deep
I actually painted mine to match the KS2 Ice Caverns! That way I can use a light panel underneath them. I also used a piece of plexi under the tiles to protect said light panel. ice caverns 2 680.jpg The edge tiles that came with the fog monster are great for creating an overlapping ice crust if yo...

Re: Painting Fog Monster terrain to Match KS6 Caverns Deep
Thanks! I also have a few of my KS6 Ice walls in there. I suppose you could use those to tie in the ice theme and use them with a KS6 Ice Cavern. I do not have that set, though i did purchase some ice walls so that I could use them with sets that have my standard paint. That is what enticed me to fi...

Re: How do Erinthor Mountain Cliffs Look with KS6 Cave Cliffs?
Creating something new with elevation pieces is a lot of fun, and you do not necessarily need a lot of them. It is nice that the Erinthor cliffs and KS6 cliffs work together. If you paint your own, you can also work on matching them. I am sure you will have a great time!

Re: Now that there are new driftstones I am finally painting the old ones
These are gorgeous! And I think more useable than the blue+green underdoom colour scheme. Are you willing to share which interference paints you used, exactly? I'm eyeing that lovely copper/bronze drybrush on the top surfaces. I am so sorry! I have to now shamefully admit I have been neglecting the...
