Re: When do you decide to get rid of something in your collection?
I have the happy circumstance of two adult children who game with me weekly (on Zoom unfortunately but better than nothing). They and the other players love when I use terrain and DF in the game. So, nothing will be sold but passed on to them. However not a lot of new purchases as storage space is g...

I will never understand dwarven pricing... Tavern set has a 66% markup for painted - it has the tool rack, mantle shelf, cabinet and halfling door Manor house has 55% markup - it has window box, halfling door, rosettes on the posts Dockside pack is DOUBLE for painted... and it is pretty much all pl...

Re: Unpopular opinion: Is the haze/excitement of the KS wearing off?
For me it all comes down to storage and frequency of usage. I have so many boxes of DF pieces they have now expanded off the shelves and are also stacked under the table. So I can’t get too crazy. On top if that is the huge increase of terrain bling available these last few years. Between Etsy and e...

Re: Post holes in the 2x2" floors - not a fan...
I think the real and unspoken reason we didn’t get Dwarvenite MBS is that you can easily find 3D printing sets that look very close to the original MBS. I’ve recently gotten into 3D printing and find myself somewhat shocked 😳 by the amount of DF clones out there (original 2” pieces in the various st...

Re: 2023 February Build
Excellent build! I did something similar years ago by standing resin cavern pieces on edge. Your build is so much grander and impressive. The terrain trays and trifecta walls make for an epic scale. Nicely done!

Re: Post holes in the 2x2" floors - not a fan...
I kind of feel the same way as Law. Kind of. The old resin floors with the bowtie connectors are/were also terribly distracting to view without fill ins but I still use them (although I do try to get most plugged in with the connectors or half connectors when I do a set up). These floors are much le...

Re: Do people prefer sets made for specific builds or made from types of piece?
Definitely more interested in sets of a specific type of piece. As others have mentioned, storage by type is how I do it too but also categorized by set. For example, I will have a box that is labeled DOD (Dungeon of Doom) walls but stored next to similar sets (classic resin walls etc). So I tend to...

This. Right here. Excellence on display.
You’ve made a terrific setup showcasing just how nice the various sets of DF complement each other. Bravo!!
