Re: Do we need Kickstarters anymore?

For boardgames and miniatures, KS works best for plastics because of the high cost of steel molds. IMO, DF is pushing it, but, since their audience is the super-niche of high-end terrain, I think it's a practical idea. Re: Tariffs

> Have they come into effect ? No, and they won't have much effect. Rising shipping costs are already causing more damage to small companies and mail order than tariffs will ever do. (See the comments sections of the CMON Bloodborne and Trudvang KS.) Additionally, states are considering internet tax...

Re: Townsfolk Miniatures

EDIT: Tiny Furniture is not involved in the "Goldfields" campaign. "The history of the Evocatus Miniatures began in 2015. When we released our first miniature "Apple Trader". Even then, we noticed that very few miniatures of civilians are produced for the world of tabletop role-playing games and war...

Re: Tariffs

Agreed. This sort of "journalism" is entirely irresponsible. :x This was posted on r/boardgames. Obviously, most of you here reading this pay much more than $60 for your DF tiles but, assuming similar costs, most of you can afford a few bucks. From Reddit: "I am a licensed Customs Broker in the US. ...

Re: Rise of the Mimics 2

Wow! Looks even better than the promo pics!

How about Tamiya Clear? I usually use Tamiya Clear Red on red things, and Tamiya Clear Blue on blue things, but suspect that plain ol' Tamiya Clear works on these colors as well.

Re: Tiny Furniture: Unpainted and Prepainted Miniatures

TF has new versions of their models (mebbe the molds wore out, so that gave them an excuse to improve the models!). Unfortunately, the website hasn't caught up with their new products! Anyway, for the Medieval Forge, you can certainly ask if there will be OSL for the forge itself. It certainly does ...
