Re: GM's looking for music for game sessions

You can also find public domain sounds files that are loopable and ones you can purchase. For example, I have one of the sounds of riding in a horse drawn carriage, one of a downpour, one of thunder, and one of string wind. I can combine those to create the atmosphere of a carriage ride through a mi...

Re: Close but not quite

Anime, sorry to hear about your fight with cancer, my friend. Glad you're here with us this summer, as always. Never fun, but I'm still here! Thank you for the kind words. I am glad you've fared well, that can be expensive in both monetary and psychological terms. My grandfather beat four different...

Re: Gamenerdz

No personal experience, but a quick trolling of Reddit in their sections devoted to several mini skirmish games reveals many satisfied customers. Only complaint was that sometimes shipping is a little slow.

Re: Close but not quite

The big issue on sets mirroring ks offering or not guys are the molds and arranging skus with the factory. New skus cost more money and time to set up and require more QA to avoid errors. The molds are likely largely all or nothing deals. Run the mold or don't, you can't really only do part of an in...

Re: Close but not quite

Hey everyone. Sorry it's taken me so long to weigh in on this. KS6 really took a lot out of me on all levels. I needed a few weeks off the grid in Vermont with my family to decompress. No complaints on this, you guys worked hard and everyone needs to get a breath in. And that's where I made the fat...

Re: Rampage Dungeon Kickstarter

Besides a true 1" grid, may I ask why you say they aren't very compatible? Maybe I'm missing something... They seem to be 2" tall, so they should be just as good as if someone were doing any other printable product or Hirst Arts modular strategy. I'm not the person you're asking, but you can't flow...

Re: Close but not quite

I'm fine with them having a vacation. Most of them were pretty frazzled at GenCon (clearly a lot of work and break neck effort had just gone into the KS and here they are at a major convention). They all really do mean well. If you meet them in person you will quickly realize there is no ill intent ...

Re: Pokorny Deep Lava vs Michaels Paint?

I've had great luck with Apple Barrel craft paints. I mix them freely with Vallejo and dilute when needed with distilled water. They've done fine on minis and terrain so far.

Re: Close but not quite

And I know DF can't necessarily open up comments or invite input on changes midstream. It may just not be feasible. And I know they are generous with refunds and returns. But they need to be more forthcoming about what's happening. I understand they can't always invite input, especially during some...

Re: Suggestions for a DF survey to backers/customers about what matters

LEDs: I am fine with some of these as accents. Too many adds to costs and reduces bang for my buck with diminishing returns on "wow factor". Miniatures: I like the packs that give me a tribe, community, or other specific group. As for encounter specific minis, I think it is best to only bother with ...
