Here\'s a shot of a portion of a Fire Giant hall in use last month.
Note the hidden opening behind the tapestry in the foreground, which went unseen by the players. After meeting the king, they had no interest in exploring the hall much further...

<r>I love the inserts idea, but JackAttack does make some very good points about the increased utility of the Chasms style. <br/> <br/> How about the best of both worlds, similar to personwholives' idea? Create the Chasm-edge style pieces, but also offer packs of very thin flat 4x4 squares (plastica...

Re:Straight passage Kickstarter Stretch Goal?
<t>Yeah, both designs are good. The main advantage I can see to the smaller pieces is that you can use them to make the exact number and type of corners/intersections/passages without having unused pieces. The main advantages to the bigger (Stefan's) pieces is they're easier/quicker to assemble and ...

Re:Straight passage Kickstarter Stretch Goal?
<t>Actually, Duncan, your design can be streamlined even further and gain just as much versatility as Stefan's. Here's how.<br/> <br/> The lengthened piece A is very similar to your basic passage piece C, except with a triangle sticking off it. We don't need such redundancy. Instead just make piece ...
