Re: Insane idea number 1

Even more, add a color film on the down light. A nice red film to enhance the lava/heat feel. Use a blue film in an ice cavern. Maybe a teal for a more fey dreadhallow. Purple or dark green to edge a bit more dark tapestry/alien over a den of evil style build.

Re: Hellscape on a budget- $400 or less

Sorta derailing this thread :(, but definitely wishing there was a second 4x2 straight banks sculpt. Its going to be fairly repetitive on long runs of magma rivers. (Even if you break it up with some curves/diagonals). All we have for straight are the 4x2 and the 2x2. Unlike trifecta/ledge peices, b...

Re: What fresh hell are you getting?

Yup, I'm trying to do fingers in ears 'I can't here you' hand over eyes 'I can't see you' with all the banks, until I get the AC repair quote.... But getting enough banks for ~60" is probably going to be a priority once I can let myself play with numbers. Being able to run a a 30" magma river across...

Re: What fresh hell are you getting?

I'm trying very hard to avoid looking at add-ons until after tuesday, got a busted A/C in my house to fix and until I have the estimate from the repair people don't want to get attached to any particular pledge... especially if I need to drop down to an even lower base pledge.

Re: Greetings from the Forge: Part 4 The Greetening ⚔

Do we know when the June restock will land, or if its been delayed? Trying to figure out how much of my DF budget I can add to the KSer now versus needing it for the restock.

Re: Lava Lake

I am thinking the magma river flanked by the banks would make a great above ground lava flow. Dreadhollow? I've been saying that for the past two days :) We have been saying similar as we want an above ground Lava river not sure banks will work with Dreadhollow :( Think we need a transition piece o...

Re: Grimoire

Agreed, I would love to see a 'Dwarvenite Grimoire' and a 'Resin Grimoire', probably prioritizing the former. I've been trying to work on some tools for build planning and even just having the full list of parts would be useful -- places where I want to know what's reasonable substitutions of very s...

Re: Hellscape Contest!

Here's mine: Hellscape-25-piece-contest-front.jpg Hellscape-25-piece-contest-side.jpg Tried to be more creative with the elevation, but it still ate into a lot of my pieces. Sewers are back heavy so couldn't use a 4x8 terrain tray on two elevation blocks, so costed 6 pieces for the main elevated sec...

Re: Pledge Planning Spreadsheet Link

I'm not sure how unusual I am as a backer, but I would love it if the piece count area of the main tab of the spreadsheet for the various pledges was all painted, then all unpainted, or vice versa. Rather than interspersed. (I know interspersed is how its traditionally been done). I almost always bu...
