i wonder what the magma tiles would look painted water but i am afraid to ask DF. They react --poorly-- to talk of more water tiles.
Good point.
Perhaps it should just be referred to as "a KS2 Lava tile expansion"

No compatibility issues - just an expansion. Consider...

Re: KS2 lava compatiablity

I will keep using my KS2 lava (2 cavern and 2 river) anything I get needs to add to this not obsolete it. The new KS 6.66 4x4s look great and the new sculpts are fantastic. But I still really like the versatility of the 2x2, where I can make a small stream or river or lake. Part of me wishes DF woul...

Re: Lava Lake

What about using the old KS2 river molds with new the translucent magma. It will not be as pretty as the new rivers but you can make larger lava pools.

KS2 lava compatiablity

Hello,
With time zones and work don't have the spare time to search for KS2 and KS6.66 images.
Anything I get needs to compliment my KS2 lava, not replace it.

Has there been any good (non-moody lighting) comparison images?

My concern is that people need to see the offering in natural light so that there will be fewer misunderstandings, misconceptions and disappointments.
Completely agree, we need to see them in "normal" lighting.
I would also like to set ups with the KS2 lava.
