Re: KS8 Is getting concerning.
I definitely want the CBS 2x2 and 2x4 options and much prefer it over a Dwarvenite MBS offering. One thing they could do is keep the new CBS 2x2 floors and walls plus add some solid wall / corner walls / door walls without the standalone pegs that plug into the floors directly. That would be 3 SKUs...

Re: KS8 Is getting concerning.
If there is MBS in KS8 it should match the KS3 sizing, so you could use streets and sidewalks and add it to your current KS3 CBS builds or extend it with KS8. Match the height, floor and wall thickness, and footprint. I think most of the free standing accessories could work for both. Grid wise, I th...

Re: KS8 Is getting concerning.
yes I fully agree. Throw in a little bit of the dwarvenite MBS 2x2 for the win, and extra building options. Make the windows the same size so you can use the accessories. Make the set so it can complete against the warlock tiles. Unsure about grid issues - but I have hazy memories of KS3 4x4 floor d...

Re: KS8 Is getting concerning.
Hm, there's a lot going on here. Thinking back to KS1 raises a lot of issues. I do think it's clear that DF has slightly changed its mission statement since those days. GameTiles began as a way to get cheap, durable terrain out to more people. And it worked. But since then, a lot has changed. 1) Pr...

Re: KS8 Is getting concerning.
Regarding the comment that DF should focus on the big spenders 'whales' - please watch the KS1 launch video, https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/dwarvenforge/dwarven-forges-game-tiles-revolutionary-miniature The goal was to get cheaper 3D terrain to more people. KS1 also had 5,398 backers compared ...

Re: Interior Walls Are a Must
I would love to see DF do an actually small kickstarter with water tiles. Start with 4 new molds and a real funding goal of $50k or whatever, and have actual stretch goals every 25k to just add another single water tile. They could repeat that every 3 months with other things - catacombs might star...

Re: Interior Walls Are a Must
Oh boy, this topic goes round and round. Don't get me wrong, it would be great to have more than one KS per year. The only problem that I can see with smaller KSs is that you still have to put in (about?) the same amount of man-power, work on the KS website, putting out quality updates, addressing ...

Re: KS8 Is getting concerning.
Yes - I have the same sentiment. Keep it simple please. I'm just after terrain that I can quickly put on a table, build something, play DnD, and then pack it away again. From the images I have seen on the forum so far the only things I will get are the new wooden CBS posts and walls. The internal wa...

Re: DF minis yea or nay?
I'm a maybe.
I have lots of minis and go to DF for terrain.
However, I don't mind the odd themed set if they are unique and suit the environment.
I have the lizardfolk, ratmen and townsfolk.
