Re: New KS5 Paints in the store

But as always, I encourage everyone to experiment and make your stuff unique. You can easily do better than the factory if you take a little time! But that can be the rub....time. With all the other options and terrain arriving unpainted, some of this madness had better arrive at my abode in "ready...

Re: Throne room fountain of youth fortress

Love it.

I didn't think I needed two of the Lobster Claw LED tower thingies, but now I see that I totally do.

Also a great reminder that the back sides of the Vaulted Magnetic Walls also work with magnets, because... duh, but it's easy to forget when building.

Re: Bio Craft (sci fi sets/ alien sets)

He was open to exploring the idea of selling silicone molds for them when someone mentioned it on the previous launch. Maybe a combination STL/personal use casting campaign could fund successfully fund at a level which fairly rewards his time investment in this? It is DAMN hard to pull off a crowdfu...

Re: Kickstarter Eastern Sands

A heads up since this project has 4 days to go - if you were backing this, please take a look at the currents comment thread there and also the discussion threads about the project on boardgamegeek.com and use your best judgement. People are raising what look to me to be some very legitimate red fla...

Re: KS6 Launch Date

What I've noticed lately, the last three boxes I have received from various places, have had dents in each box. I would just like to get one without any dents. Are they playing soccer with these boxes or what. I think all three were USPS, not UPS. Who knows? I have noticed this too, with boxes from...

Re: New KS5 Paints in the store

Properly polished paint guides (hopefully even with videos) are planned, but probably can't happen until after the next Kickstarter madness has subsided. Here's the thread with my basic & easy faux-factory paint scheme. It's a pretty decent ringer, I would update the drybrush mix to be around 60% St...

Re: KS6 Launch Date

By the time you post your third post in this thread you will have bought everything ...... Twice! We have similar experience with batteries not being sent, will have to see if this effects KS5 and 6 That is interesting and damn frustrating, I think the Fog Monster folks had similar issues with batt...

Re: Suggestions from the peanut gallery

I think because, as a player would be looking down into the dungeon even farther. Standing up on your tippy toes, bending your back like an 80 year old (or me) over the edge of the game table, craning your neck to see every tiny thing inside a small cavern, peering down to the bottom of that deep l...

Re: Is my dungeon of doom here yet

Thanks, SirGeekJeff, I'm actually fine with delay, and I trust that DF sees Kickstarter as a part of their business plan, so they want to do them well. It's just the last update didn't really update. Will people who are waiting for the bridge or elevation tray pieces (that may need re-casting or so...

Re: Bio Craft (sci fi sets/ alien sets)

I hope he manages to fund, I love the sculpts and from some emails with him he sounds like a nice guy and passionate about his projects. It's already fairly modest in scope, he probably needs 4-6 PVC injection molds for this (depending on which pieces can share a mold shot) and there's not really a ...
