Re: Post your pledges here!

I really hope I hate everything in the next Kickstarter.   Best first post ever. Welcome to the forums, Auberon! Sadly, I'm sure DF will disappoint you and you will most likely be interested in the next kickstarter. :P Love it! Our wallets are still crying out in anguish, yet in all...

Re: Post your pledges here!

Okay this is my final pledge and I can only post it because the pledge manager is closed. Except for the resin pieces that I will likely get when we get to see the finals. All painted unless otherwise mentioned Pledge Wildlands Untamed x 1 Wow. was all this painted? What are you trying to achieve, ...

Re: Last minute jitters

Just to add to the various perceptions of winter... We don't get a lot of snow. Our deciduous trees lose all their leaves and grass tends to retain some semblance of green throughout the winter. So in my mind winter is mostly bare trees with a light mix of conifers. Around here, the predominant Liv...

Re: Post your pledges here!

I asked DF support to revert me back to build-your-own so I could switch to painted. Then I changed my mind and went back to unpainted. For future reference with projects using Pledgemanager.com - once you're on Build Your Own, you can always revert back to Build You Own by yourself. Unless it's a ...

Re: Untamed Wilds - Additions

You won't have every single permutation of Battleboard, Terrain Tray, and Mat - but that's fine, there's a ridiculous array of them and you only need whichever water options you want to concentrate on. The only ones I'd say to consider a look at are the Dismal Quagmire water trays/mats, and the Erin...

Re: Post your pledges here!

I noticed most people aren't getting the larger Mountain sculpted floors, I got in for several packs. I own 1 OG Erinthor set so I have a few floors already, but not tons. What's the reason you don't want them? Is it because you already have lots? Or you would rather build up escarpments next to fo...

The Standing Stones - Painted
If you're painted mountains anyway, you could save a few bucks by getting standing stones unpainted. It's pretty much just a big rock?
It's painting the LED elements I want to avoid, I've found them bothersome in previous sets.

Re: Post your pledges here!

Alright, I think I'm settled unless I wuss out at the last minute and switch to everything painted. I don't mind painting Mountains. I don't wanna paint Forests and Swamps, because I know I'll take forever to finish it. Doing Mountains unpainted lets me upgrade from Heart of the Mountain + addons to...

Re: Swamp Water vs Dismal Quagmire MAT

Backers love the Nettlegorse too, but balk at how expensive it ends up to collect. It has similar production challenges - multi axis branches and undercuts, requiring splitting it into multiple pieces/mold impressions and then assembly. The Cattail was going to end up even worse, I think. A Cattails...
