Re: KS8 (or 9) - Cities expansion - what would you do?

I just took the Survey and it was marvelous to see so many of the ideas mentioned in this thread included in the options. The format was a good exercise for me as it made me differentiate between what would be 'cool' and what I actually need/will use. I went all in on the swamp so I am really hoping...

Re: Set by Set review of Pledge Levels for Wildlands

Thank you Masticon for your thoughtful analysis. DF should thank you too as you caused me to double my pledge (I had originally planned on the Swamp Wargame scatter) and triple my total planned PM add-ons amount. I had not even considered the Craigs Bridge until I read your comments on it. If DF wo...

Re: Set by Set review of Pledge Levels for Wildlands

Explore the Swamp This is the sweet spot for the swamp set in my opinion. This set works great as designed for a 2x2 swamp but could also be spread out more sparsely as a forest set. It includes significant ground pieces to add a level of elevation to your wargame terrain. This could help if you’re...

Re: Facebook sharing

Not many FB friends hobby so probably not spamming there. But Instagram is hobby only, but waiting until there are more add-ons before spamming on there. I certainly get your point on the add-ons. I find the pace of the information release to be painfully slow. My budget is set and I want to figure...

Facebook sharing

Shared to my local RPG group. Only 170 members but everything help the campaign. I am sure that some of our DFers, especially some of the Minotaur Lords, are much more switched onto Social media. Who have you shared it with and how big was the group?

Re: Impressions so far of Wildlands Kickstarter

Well, I did not get the tree fort I wanted, so far, but I am sure I can perch minis in the Royal Rowan Tree. So far I think the Forest is the most versatile for RPG/wargaming but I have a Young Black Dragon mini that REALLY wants to play in the swamp. So far so good on the KS but waiting 3 weeks bef...

Re: What‘s your first impression of the new battleboards?

I also didn't get the '... way too rare on this forum .' comment either. Maybe we don't praise D.F. on everything, but we usually give them their due praise. :? :?: -water tiles- . . . . ... maybe it's a Canadian thing? :P ;) Peace, brother gamer. :) Yup, totally a Canadian thing. No 'negativ...

Re: What‘s your first impression of the new battleboards?

When Nate revealed the Battleboard on the twitch stream it was pretty well received, even if we did not like the grid. The Discord crew tends to be more in favour of them even if we did bitch about the grids. Concur 100%. DF seems to be trying to fill niches in the terrain market or create new nich...

Of course it will probably get off track into weasel and rabbit mating habits by page two anyway.
Tradition! Always go with tradition!

I am very excited about this KS but am no whale when it comes to budget. I have promised myself to keep it under $1,000.
