Re: New KS: modular castle and city system

Re: White undercoat with good coverage?

Other than the Pokorny two, are there any suggestions on good acrylic metallic paints for painting with a brush? I hate most metallic paints, they separate and coat like crap. ;) Metallic paints kind of suck. They get gummy as they dry and the metallic particles in them destroy brush bristles. Defi...

White is generally very opaque, but because of its high value (be definition the brightest value), any coverage gaps are immediately apparent. The lack of transparency is a plus and a minus, depending on what you are trying to achieve. Base coating white over anything remotely darker is an exercise ...

The Stench from Hell

Okay, so I definitely noticed the awful "hellish" plastic smell of 6.66. So I put all the sets in my garage to air out for four days. I Occasionally moved the tiles around so they would all get exposed to air. Today I took them up to my office/storage room and started shelving them. Within...

Re: KS8 - "Civil" Lands (maybe)?

My biggest worry with a DF "civilized" setting KS is that they will like so many other terrain accessory makers make the items to modern. Cemeteries that scream 1800s Farm equipment that screams 1800s To be fair, farm equipment and stonework didn't change much between 1000AD and 1800AD. M...
