Re: Seawalls worth it?

seawalls pros: they look good and I don't think not having corners is that big a deal, they also look very convenient to use. cons: they are short, kind of expensive and I already own some dwarvern forge pieces that can serve in place of seawalls. I would consider seawalls only if I didn't have anot...

Re: For people planning to mix KS8 and KS3 -- how are you handling roofs?

'storage' vs 'how often will I use it' delimma is where I am at with KS8 I find that I am less limited by funds and more limited by space which leads to the important question: how many ramshackle houses do I need in my ttrpg terrain collection? My goal is one 9litre Really Useful Box (but the city ...

Re: For people planning to mix KS8 and KS3 -- how are you handling roofs?

Feel like this is one of those 'I will not know until I know" situations. Getting a couple of the thatch because I believe they look good regardless of building type. Getting handful of the new KS8 slate roofs to try out and utilize the windows walk scaffolding. Not going crazy buying them beca...

Re: KS3 City builder fans -- how will you be using Lowtown?

The old tudor houses are going to look great with a few rustic thatched roof cottages and a fieldstone mill for the water wheel village! Thats exactly what I was thinking. I also think the new rustic wood looks good on top of fieldstone structures so will be using like that as well. Not going too c...

Re: Question for KS3 fans

Good thoughts all around. Like you, I can already make a good sized table filling KS3 City so my plan is... +enough to do lowtown on one section of the table with KS3 all around to show the city transition into the slums. +enough lowtown for a medium sized encounter area To accomplish this for less ...

Re: Why I hate fiddly little bits and overly modular pieces

Appreciate the post as it does feel good to know that I am not alone in my dislike of overly fiddly little bits. I understand that new DF ideas may get some play testing in the office. But is it play tested with those of us that are storing tons of dwarven forge in a home office, storage unit, basem...

Re: Wildlands Biome Review with MVP's and LVP's

Thanks for the write up review! Your review echo my sentiments for the pieces I have received so far. Lots of good stuff in wildlands for sure but some of those pieces are head scratchers. Those few mountain pieces you are referencing are not the correct size and show why they should have made a 1x3...

Re: Dare I ask about when Swamps will ship NOW....?

I like my one shimmerfrond more than I thought I would (I managed to avoid all but one).

It seems happy as a lone unique plant and hasn't caused any issues so far

Re: Stone Plug Inserts

Plugged up my escarpment holes with these inserts as soon as I got them out of the box.

I have forgotten they are even there...they blend into the escarpments very well!
The thought to paint them hasn't crossed my mind but I'm sure others will :)

Re: Feedback: 7-A119-P Faerie Glade - P

These trees look even better in person than they did in the KS. The sculpt is great and the factory paint I received looks stunning. I believe these are fragile (one of my branches on the regal tree arrived broken) and will not treat them like I do my other dwarvenite. Regardless of their fragility ...
