Re: Elevation pieces

That's a lot of monsters! I like your style. :D Seriously though, these are all great ideas and gives me the inspiration I need. I still will want some of the transition type pieces (stairs, diases, ramps, etc.) but I don't necessarily need them all at once, or as much as I was thinking. This does g...

Re: Pathfinder 2nd Ed DF pieces

Yeah, I tried limiting the number of books and got pushback as for some people the fun is in finding odd combos (but not going bonko with them). I try to be a GM that is there for my players' fun more than my own, so if they as a group want something and I don't, I typically let them win and I go w...

Re: Elevation pieces

Agree on the diases. I already have a set each of the straight and curved. Will likely pick more up as time goes on. GT and Acid Bath were both on my wish list too. Frankly, most of the stuff is lol. That said, I really only have a coupe hundred (might be able to stretch to three) to spend right now...

Re: Elevation pieces

*head meet palm* Naturally, the simplest solution works well.

That's a nice build there too! This definitely does make it easier for me. I likely will still add some elevation pieces but that does make it easier to branch out a bit more with other stuff.

Elevation pieces

When building for game sessions, how much do you typically use? I have a relatively small collection of DF, enough for several rooms at once, which is really about all I need for a given session, but I'm still very light on elevation. Unfortunately, while I want it all of course, the bank account ye...

Re: Traveling with DoD?

I would agree with the suggestion to put the led/batteries on top. Preferably in a clear bag to make it easier for them to see when/if they do open your luggage. The bigger concern for me would simply be the durability of the led pieces during travel -- especially since TSA doesn't always repack esp...

Re: Pathfinder 2nd Ed DF pieces

I really agree with this. Kitchen sink games can get old quick, especially when some people like using/abusing the rules and others in the group do not. Having a group that understands the importance of everyone having fun is pretty key. I ran a 4ed game in a game store and so, allowed everything f...

Re: What do you play with DF?

Initial plan (new to DF here and only now getting around to painting it) is to use it with Pathfinder. It is true that if you want exact replicas of the maps, you'll need a lot of pieces. That said, you can often adjust things to be close enough to work with what you have. Heck, even when running pu...
