Re: Monster Terrain

The Early Bird War pledge seemed like a pretty good deal at $30 a set. Also gives me a lot of flexibility to mix and match which sets I decide on based on what gets unlocked.

Oh they just funded a short time ago, hitting their basic goal of $30K.

Re: Monster Terrain

Well I am figuring on using more of these terrain goodies on mats, while DF forest will be a whole construct near a place of importance. I suspect it would be quicker and less fiddly to drop down some rocks, trees and goodies on one of my large terrain mats with this design. more of an upgrade to so...

Re: Monster Terrain

Not much of a surprise. Being an active DF probably also means a serious interest in terrain and the willingness to spend on it...thus backing yet another KS is not a steep hill to climb. I did not realize it was live until I noticed that it was mentioned here. (It was on my list to look for, but I ...

Re: Kickstarter 7 teaser?

The larger tiles are also more difficult to cast without warping. We heard some comments about the larger tiles in this KS being especially challenging to get the molding right. Witness how much trouble they had with the large elevation boxes and getting them to not warp or deform. Smaller tiles giv...

Re: Kickstarter 7 teaser?

I would think they would stick with 4x4 for anything likely to be underground, so that they can match up easier with all the previous dungeon and cavern tiles.

Re: Help! I've got DFKISS!

And you can look forward to the next shipment on Bones arriving sometime soon, if you backed their latest KS as well...I still have some early bones KS minis stashed in the unpainted boxes. I was somewhat selective on which ones got the earlier paint jobs. (The lizardmen, orcs, and undead tended to ...

Re: Castle Restock

Are we going to get a break down of the sets before they hit the webstore? It would make it easier to determine whether we should put them on our buy list, as it would give us time to go over our current collection and see whether they are something that fills a gap in our collection. That is an ou...
