Re: The total positive topic on what you like in KS6.66

The scope is smaller, so you can get everything for about 1/4 the cost of the top ALL-IN pledge from KS6. (I am not counting the AHBL pledge that is an artifice). Likely to get a really nice selection of this lava theme for less than 1K if you want to. The light table concept is a cool new thing tha...

That looks so cool. I wouldn’t have thought to use the lava walls as battlements like that.
When your keep is on the 78th plane of the abyss you might well have that option!!

Re: What fresh hell are you getting?

I am currently in for 2nd circle of hell, but leaning toward getting that illuminated and then adding just the 3rd encounter without more light tables and save a few hundred over the illuminated 3rd circle package. which would give me room for some add-ons. Of course if I keep listening to this too ...

Re: Light Panel Size (s)

I am thinking 7 should be more than enough. If we need to make a larger table than that "glow with hotness" probably should just borrow some heat lamps and aim them at the players to make the sweat!! for a touch of realism.. :D

Re: Light Panel Size (s)

8"X8" will be a very cool size. More filters please :!: Huh! I was really on the fence about the light panels, but you're doing a great job selling it! All kinds of possible pools, enchanted terrain, glowing fae groves, etc., etc. that you could do with the right variety of filters... Think about t...

Re: Wow :)

Is there a reason why the AHBL pledge level is only offered in Illuminated? It’s meant to be the ultimate pledge, all inclusive. Enough lights to illuminate all the glowy pieces, nothing else you’d need to buy. And if it did not include everything, some folks would probably ask about why not as wel...

Re: can't afford these anymore.

It takes time to make an impact and the answer "too late to make a change" is too common. This is why we start asking for changes immediately... Because sometimes DF has a good idea they haven't shown us yet, and sometimes they need to be shown why their thinking was a little off. ;) And to show wh...

Re: Compatibility with Resin Hellscape

AHBL just seemed like overkill to me. I would be hard pressed to use just the standard 3rd circle of Hell with perhaps a few add-ons. I have no compulsion for completionism with DF (which I cannot say for other collections however...). I selected a 2nd circle of hell painted as my starting point and...

Re: can't afford these anymore.

The cost vs utility question will always come into play whenever niche terrains are being offered. From an RPG gaming perspective, swamps are probably not that far removed from Hellscape terrain for how often games might venture into those realms. I see these parts being useful in both normal land b...

Re: Light Panel Size (s)

Yah for me the time is money part of the equation is huge. Still in flux over what level of all this lava to get. I can most definitely see using some lava in a few settings, but how often will I need a LOT of hot stuff for a setting. Looking to make some sort of rational decision here, and it does ...
