Re: Crystal Battery Life

The loose battery in the top picture is the dead one from the original shipment made by SUYUMAX. Ok, so that's the same as the ones I have... I found a nice breakdown online so I didn't have to take a pic of mine. 6mb-b07fchhk42_3.jpg L# = LEDs (obviously) R# = Resistors C# = capacitors AKTOY-28B =...

Re: Crystal Battery Life

I made a document with my inventory of DF pieces that have LEDs and the batteries needed, just to not have to open them to remember: Resin Catacomb sets (Corners, Long Walls (4"), Skull Pit): LV-44 Batteries (3 x piece) Castles KS Castle Gateway: CR-2032 Batteries (x2) Castles KS Chromatic Orb: CR-...

Re: Crystal Battery Life

Yes, there's a remote and embedded LEDs inside of walls, no sockets. We've had embedded LEDs before and the battery life was fine (Shrine of Sysuul). My guess is that it's something to do with the remote capability. Yes, in my experience with remote controlled RGB LEDs, you are correct. The IR comp...

Re: Crystal Battery Life

I'm not familiar with the pieces that are being mentioned... is there a remote that comes with these pieces in order to change their colours?... It sort of sounded like that in the original post.

The forum top lists could also be very different if spending on DF were taken into account. I have spent a goodly amount, but some people have vastly overspent me.
I think you'd have to be spending an ungodly amount to get onto that list :P

Re: The future of terrain and DF

There's a whole crafting community out there that lives in a wonderful, beautiful, full and separate world from all of this and it's going just as strong. I straddle many different communities to sate my creativity, from 3D printing to world and battlemap creation using Wonderdraft and Mapforge, to ...

Re: Traditional Tudor Look

I did these a few years back. Looking for more internal options... https://i.imgur.com/vgiy9Sy.jpg https://i.imgur.com/6h8cPCi.jpg https://i.imgur.com/XIIWkdH.jpg Coffee stir sticks over balsa, cut to fit in with DF tile dimensions. These look fantastic! Nice job and looks like they work real well.

Re: Dungeon Crawler Behemoth

For a real big mini with a lot of surface area it just needs more shading and whatnot so it doesn't look so flat. I mean, that's what you get with a factory paint job, so nothing unexpected. I don't know. Base coat, two different colors with drybrush in different directions, dark wash, very light d...
