Re: Painting: Primer Question
@Oldent - It's possible. The wash was one of the final steps on a piece painted with Reaper paints. I was able to get rid of the tackiness with a brush on matte varnish but it added another step. I ended up abandoning the wash. I had a discussion with my local store owner about washing mold release...

Re: Pre-orders for Streets, Catacombs, and/or Sewers
As they’ve both sold out, very interested in a Catacomb 1 & 2 restock, as well as the corners and floors in accessories. I already own a set of Cata 1, but I’m realizing that I’d love to be able to make bigger setups with the theme!

City Builder - Antiqued Look on Floors?
antiqued.jpg I'm finally getting around to painting up my city builder stone sets, and I liked how the floors looked in the prepainted photos, with the lighter grout in between the stones. I was curious how the effect was achieved. In the tutorial above, it seems to go from a completely flat painte...

Re: KS7 Wildlands ?
I would love a swamp and a desert, as we visit those biomes a lot. Jungle and frozen forest too.

Re: KS: Dwarves, Elves and Demons
I'm backing this too. Really excited for the elven pieces. I think it'll compliment the dwarven forge woodland set nicely! Printable scenery prints up very well in my experience. This observatory was printed at 0.1. 45299889_10156977374261004_7162503649988444160_n.jpg 45146930_10156977374116004_1839...

Elevation Platform and Lid Color
The elevation platform and lid say that they're made of Dwarvenite G. Will they be the lighter grey color of KS4, or will they be the darker dungeon grey of KS1 and the other tiles of KS5?

Re: PSOM Miniatures?
All of the suspect pieces I had purchased in June of 2015 were the same black resin... despite having purchased miniature terrain that was supposed to be from 3 different companies: Psom Miniatures (mine carts, mine cart tracks and other mining bits), Scotia Grendel (skull fountains, large round se...

Re: Painting Reaper Bones drives me CRAZY
I've painted bones with and without primer. Without does work, but it can take more coats and was more frustrating for me. At this point, I wash all of them and prime them with army painter primer. No more bare bones. I backed their second kickstarter, so I have oodles of plastic minis to paint. I b...

Re: Paint Scheme: Ice Caverns from Dungeon Grey
Another project I started and left hanging for nearly a year. Kickstarter caverns tiles painted in an icy color scheme! These were originally dungeon grey. These were my tiles that I finished up in the last month, completing the set. It's difficult to tell in the photo, but I poured a glossy epoxy a...
