Re: June 14 Reserve Release

I was going for Resin...ended up with Dwarvenite (resin items I wanted sold out too fast) but happy to get a few items I'd been wanting for awhile. Picked up several items that weren't even part of the restock -- definitely a good marketing strategy!

Metal Keys for the Castles

Those keys are demonstrated in a couple of videos out there. But, short version, they can be used to hook into the decoration-mounting holes on the walls to pull the wall free and thus gain access to the corridor inside. How useful they are will depend on your build. But I think if you've got inter...

Good luck and best wishes to you, Suzy -- and thank you again for going above and beyond handling my orders over the past few years!

Re: DF Painted Minis - help!

Arcane Legions has some prepainted, some unpainted. They all have posts on their bases to fit into trays designed for the Arcane Legions game. The posts cut off easily with a knife (or even scissors); a bit of shaving may be needed to make sure the base is level afterward. Arcane Legions is right at...

Re: SALE OF DWF: DO BOXES MATTER?

I bought a Room & Passages set without a box, and the pieces were shipped wrapped in lots of bubblewrap all inside a right-size box, keeping them secure. Four of the passages arrived broken. :-( Since then, I've bought a couple sets without the box (which arrived intact), but I definitely prefer...

Re: Non DnD movies that are really .... DnD movies

When I first started playing D&D in 1977, your character received a number of followers based on his / her charsima. So my first game had the DM and 5 players - our party size was 41 adventurers total and our game board was a 3x 6 sewing board fighting about a dozen trolls with about 70% casual...

Not D&D movies, but an awesome wizard battle is the Dumbledore vs. Voldemort scene in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

Also, the Masters of the Universe cartoon is in some ways more D&D-like than the Dungeons & Dragons cartoon.

Re: Kickstarter or Pre-order for RESIN Caverns, Rivers and Lakes

I would be happy to see a Resin pledge level in with the Dwarvenite kickstarters. The Resin pledge level wouldn't have to be a huge selection, but it would be great to introduce Dwarvenite customers to the Resin sets, and simultaneously expand the Resin sets to please those of us who still prefer th...
