Re: Final KSIV pledge
@LadySabelle - That's nuts; but by the time you paint all of your KS4, you'll have KS5 prototypes of the 45-degree tower transitions. ...is that an actual cardboard castle from Dragon #86? That's OLD, like pre-Unearthed Arcana AD&D old...

Re: Final KSIV pledge
@kitenerd - Thanks! I agree my low budget this year has required a mix of trickery and hard choices. I had to give up completely on mountains, crenellated battlements, 4" and 6" towers and roofs, and a ton of LED dressings, not to mention minis (I have plenty of minis, but ask any DM- ther...

Wait- people save their baggies? I burn specifically for all the fumes...dice4hire wrote:Dunno about painted and its smell, I rarely buy it, but a few people's tiny bag collection will be most impressive. I know with my medicum orders it is often an entire box full of plastic baggies.

Re: Final KSIV pledge
For those of you in the "Contest of Least Self-Control," do you realize you are now obligated to post photos not only of your builds but the unboxing? Many photos. Even though it will make me sick with envy I want to see what this much DF stuff can do! I second that- even from all of Nate...

Re: Final KSIV pledge
Hey, I posted this in the KS comments, but it belongs here. My discount KS4 pledge came in at $337. This is what a Castle-on-a-Shoestring pledge looks like, for someone who hugely supported Caverns and City Builder (all painted): 1 Gatehouse ($85) 1 Straight Walls ($78) 1 Cube Spacer ($46) 1 Flagsto...

Re: New KS3 photos
Yeah, there was basically only one way to get the Cathedral Windows if I recall correctly... At least two: Stone Wall pack and Bridge of Valar. The Least Weasel Not "at least," those were the ONLY two ways. I originally had a Stone Wall pack to get 6 Abbey Windows, but switched to two Bri...

Re: KS3 Peer Pledge Review
Horrible pledge, Jason! What were you thinking?!? -I'm just messing with you- it looks pretty tight for an Empire + Village ("13-set") pledge (which I couldn't afford after all the add-ons.) 2 Monster Sewers, Imperials Streets, yes, yes... And ruins, taverns, LED walls, and wicked accessor...

Re: 2x2 City building tiles to match the 4x4 floors.
I am sort of a noob here... ...If I had based my decision on my first day there... I would not be here now. It really looked bad... ...while the group appears to small, there is a much larger world available through the products, tips, and advice available here. Welcome, Vegomatic! I'm sort of a no...

Re: KS3 Peer Pledge Review
@Astrocat - Funny, it looks like you and I have almost the same pledges. I also came to the same conclusion as William's recommendation to drop the posts. You end up with 88 +10 double posts for 25 floors, just 2 short of building out all 25 floors as 4" x ##" buildings, oh well... @Alver...

Re: KS3 Peer Pledge Review
@William/Josh, My version of the spreadsheet only lists painted prices so I can fit it on one page, but I checked the math on walls, floors, etc. and I'm pretty sure it's good to go. You're welcome to give it a try if you'd like: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xY23Uo-iRucBSwXKwB0_ooGZVlfLKR...
