Re: Am I the only person that wants a Regular paint scheme?

I guess, worst-case scenario, there's a potential solution.

Those of us on this boat can just buy fewer pieces, buy them unpainted, and paint them ourselves. I don't like painting terrain at all (too busy painting figures), but if they can't provide it for a premium, I guess we don't have a choice.

Re: Am I the only person that wants a Regular paint scheme?

This feels like it is a reality v aesthetics debate Pretty much, ya. For a product like this, I side with "seamless interconnectivity" more than anything else. I might think differently if the footprint wasn't square, but the changes in floor type would be so jarring and geometric. :_( Ap...

Re: Am I the only person that wants a Regular paint scheme?

I don't mind paying a small premium to get pieces I can more easily integrate. I just don't like being stuck with only a few hellscape pieces when we could integrate them into a bigger build.

Same reason I got crystal pieces in the normal paint scheme.

Am I the only person that wants a Regular paint scheme?

I love the new pieces--lava rivers, magma pools, hellgate, and all--but they won't fit with any of my existing pieces. I'd much rather have a paint scheme that matches KS2 and Caverns Deep. I'm holding out on buying this set until that happens. I hate the idea of the hellscape pieces sticking out so...

Re: KS7 Wildlands ?

Craaaaap... Those shed roofs are beautiful and exactly what I wanted. I may just copy them exactly since it would open up the builds dramatically. Any chance you have (or could provide) a more detailed tutorial on what you did, since yours turned out so well? Or is it literally just a roof cut down ...

Re: Puzzle Floors -- Wow!!

I'm using the ol' InstantMold+GreenStuff approach to make new floors. That way, I can (insanely) have all 504 sticker options available... even if I'm only going to use about 20 of them ever.

Re: KS7 Wildlands ?

That would be cool too, but it would have to work with the magnetic additions to the current roof pieces (assassin perch, gables, etc). My main hope would be to have a piece like this (chimney is obviously an addon I didn't feel like Photoshopping out): https://i.imgur.com/wilFQwA.png ...so that I c...

Re: KS7 Wildlands ?

If you call them by their real name they sound kind-of wild...ish. Shed roofs. Along with tile and slate, some thatched or plank coverings would be cool, too. ;) If they use the same pitch as before, then there's also room for attic space in each half. I wish I could just like or positive-react to ...

Re: KS7 Wildlands ?

I'm going to add these to my wishlist, although I know it's almost completely wrong for Wildlands, since they're both additions to City Builder System:
- 4x4 City roofs that are just inclines (so two together would be a giant 4x8 roof)
- Church steeples

Re: City and Castle compatibility with Dungeon of Doom and Caverns Deep

Damn, @William... that was an exhaustively complete response (that's a compliment from me, even if it doesn't seem so). Thanks for the push in that direction. It's more-or-less what I'd assumed, and minor variations don't really bug me. I think I'll follow that poster's advice and just limit mixing ...
