Re: City Campaign & Dungeon of Doom Playthrough

Very nice! Thank you for sharing. I really enjoyed reading through this, not just because it's such an enjoyable read, but it does double duty... gives me insight into how this module plays out. Many hand-clappings are due to you!

Re: Close but not quite

That said, I do agree with you in the sense that there probably is some general "this was fun, let's do it again" sense of wanting to work with each other and do the same kind of thing. Getting those record numbers, it's exciting. Heck, even the backers get into checking out how a campaign is doing...

Re: Close but not quite

Oh and I'll add - the inventory issue MATTERS. I've got a good friend who's seen me rave about DF for six years but never took the plunge. Then his kids got into gaming and he started to pick up a few things. Guess what happened? Store didn't have anything he wanted in stock (after his first few pu...

Re: GameMatz is having a nice sale!

I went ahead and ordered a Promatz grasslands mat with a square grid. I do have 5 of their Gamematz from the kickstarter a while ago. The vinyl has a hatch-texture that I don't care for much, but I still use them and they're alright. I will say I use my Hotz green felt with grid way more often than ...

Re: My KSV paint scheme

The difference between wall and floor paint looks great. I think it helps to define the space better when the walls aren't the same color as the floors... I wish the factory paint jobs would reflect this.

Re: Close but not quite

I made a large(ish) KS5 pledge and would like to add my voice to the important and underlying message. DF Team - I love you guys and the stuff you make. Please, please, please, do a better job communicating changes to the product we backed for in a timely and clear manner via KS updates. Rationale:...

Re: Close but not quite

It really seems apparent to me from the last KS that the reins have been passed. Moving to the west coast and retirement have been mentioned in this forum. Huh. That's interesting. I'll preface this statement by saying that DF customer service has always been the very best. I've only had a few issu...

Re: Cavernous Lair

Awesome build, love the old resin caverns sets. Did you draw the map first, or after you set it up?

Re: City Campaign & Dungeon of Doom Playthrough

Wow, looks like a blast. Thanks so much for posting! How many hours has the DoD part of your game taken so far? How are your players liking it?
