Re: Thoughts about tiered layouts with KS6

The rising elevation pieces can be used to get that gradual rise to a higher level. The floor area on them isn't level, it is "stepped", and they could sit next to the "stepped elevation block" which is essentially the next piece to higher elevation, then finally beyond that the 'elevation block" t...

Re: Thoughts about tiered layouts with KS6

Or lots of Japanese foam blocks. I bought one elevation stilt pack just to play around with, but I expect to just use foam for elevation as always. Can anyone explain the rising elevation walls to me? The walls go from short to tall, but the floor seems to be level. Not sure where these would be use...

Re: The Path to El Dorado

I have some of the Egyptian ones, and I`m very happy with them. The quality and level of detail on my sets were very good. As a DF collector, they have the 2 main features that I look for: 1) They are a similar scale and compatible to mix with DF 2) They cover a cool theme not already covered by DF...

Serious amounts of awesome in that pic. If there was a coffee table book of DF forumite builds, that shot would make the cut.

Whoa, that’s a phenomenal catacombs build. Love it! The stacked sections give it a more epic feel, nice job and thanks for sharing. Cats are still one of the best sets.

Re: Age of Worms Averted

Two amazing builds... did you say *11* year long campaign?! Nice work! Very creative use of pieces in these, I like your use of the big buttresses in the top pic and the elevation box tower in the bottom build. I need to grab about 3 more e-boxes before they’re gone from the web store. So what’s you...

Re: Beginnings: A New Eberron Campaign

One thing I’ve gleaned from years of enjoying your photos is the Importance of color. DF color palettes are typically very desaturated (if that’s the right word), but your photos are very rich with bright paints and colored light. Is that something you do consciously when you build your setups?
