Re: Monster Adventure Terrain (aka Dungeon Legos)

That looks silly. Why would they not even texture the building pieces? (I'm sure the answer is manufacturing limitations, but if that's the case, they should have just given up, that looks horrible.)

Re: Three by Three tiles?

Man, you always make such cool stuff! I had not considered the possibilities those holes in the SW Mines tiles presented. Love those gem encrusted shafts, and also the lighting options are great! Now I'm imagining some red light (and I wish I had a fog machine too) to imply some lava underneath. Bri...

Re: Elevation pieces

Even for dungeon stuff using nonDF stuff to gain elevation can be a workable solution. In the picture below, I have a sheet of plexiglass supported by 4 or 5 USPS Priority Mail boxes had available, and you can see some packing material cardboard supports for some towers on a small hill in the backg...

Re: Kickstarter 6.66

Definitely looks similar to the CD water transition piece. Looks like lava river tiles, then a transition tile, then a terrain tray. But the flowing lava texture on the river is very nice.

Re: What do you play with DF?

I use it for D&D. I tend to use it for custom encounters rather than pre-made (I'm running Princes of the Apocalypse and Curse of Strahd right now, but tend to use the pieces for random wilderness encounters and other things, rather than for the maps in the books, so far anyways).

Re: Tariffs

I think that "o/than" is for [excluding] bicycles, not the items listed after the comma. Hmm, you might be right. I could see it being read either way, but I suppose it it were meant to be a list of exclusions, there would be a colon or something in there. :/ The exclusion is for bicycles. ( source...

Re: Tariffs

It does says "other than [...] reduced scale models" so hopefully that includes all miniatures and related terrain. Miniatures and miniature terrain are not a game in and of themselves, and are definitely reduced scale models. I think that "o/than" is for [excluding] bicycles, not the items listed ...
