Re: Frostgrave in the Catacombs

Excellent idea...we too used DF stuff for my first game of Frostgrave (didn't care for it much). Always good to make use of terrain though. I like your catacombs!

Re: Sharing some dungeoneering pictures

Thanks all. The bone piles I recently made a few more of, as they're useful for a number of things. I have Dungeon Saga on the way at some point and though I don't love the rules so far, if I do play it, I'll be using my own miniatures etc. The painting isn't good..it's all about tricks. Re-base, bl...

Sharing some dungeoneering pictures

So I pop on here on/off to kind of keep my finger on the DF pulse. I snapped some pics a few months back, as I've been steadily building a dungeon crawl project. Figured this was a good a place as any to post some pics. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v455/Elbaus/CCC%20Project/DSCN0900_zps1xht30c7...

Re:A More Natural Paint Scheme Than Before

I actually like the colour scheme of your first set better. I do think the second version is more convincing/natural though. Either way, well done.

Re:Confession of a long-time fan

<t>No worries. We\'re all fans of certain things.<br/> <br/> I have perhaps a dozen resin sets, and did the double-set basic pledge for the first Kickstarter (as I simply needed some \"basic\" dungeon materials, as I had too many \"special\" sets and not enough basic rooms). It worked a treat and I ...

Re:More floor tiles!

<t>Floors are indeed quite valuable. However, as mentioned above they\'re the easiest to replicate or \"fudge\" so to speak. While I own enough resin kits and game tiles to stack from floor to ceiling, I am always short on large floor pieces. I may even consider having my buddy use his laser-cutter ...

Re:Price-per-piece Math

<t>I can see the OP\'s gripe, but at the end of the day something is worth what people will pay for it. Personally I have enough caverns and the current KS didn\'t blow my skirt up (in value or product - it\'s nice enough I just don\'t need it --- nor was it enough of an insane value that I had to g...

Re:Paint/sealing question from a n00b

<t>Just depends on how much you have to paint. I got the two set KS (so about three sets total if you consider add-ons) and I I did all of them with half a bottle of Vallejo...<br/> <br/> So if you don\'t have a ton to paint, don\'t worry. My buddy who ordered 20 sets (thus received 30)...yeah he\'s...

Re:The Blood Stone of Ankmoor

Lovely stuff. I\'m going to have a buddy of mine make some 2\" tall platform sections with stonework sidewalls etc. so I can mount some proper levels in my dungeons eventually. As it stands now I use the imaginary \"this staircase leads to this portion\"...

Beautiful work.
