Re: Feb. update?

The issue I am most concerned about is the change in the paint scheme from OG Dreadhollow to the new one. I have the same concerns with the new mountains compared to OG Erinthor. I know some new Dreadhollow have been sold already in the store, but I haven't been paying enough attention here to know...

Re: Should KS8 add a new build mechanic?

For me, I would envision things like an 8x8 tile being used for the floor and if DF comes up with some stable interior walls, perhaps even thinner than the normal CBS walls, that can be placed on the floors to create smaller rooms for example. A second floor with a central 10' wide hallway and a se...

Re: Should KS8 add a new build mechanic?

Also, some half-width floors would probably be useful But that would also mean they would need some 1/2 length wall inserts as well. So that could be a challenge. I think they should stick to the 4x4 base metric for buildings. That leaves enough playable space inside to be viable, and you can creat...

Re: Should KS8 add a new build mechanic?

To answer the question Should KS8 add a new build mechanic? The answer would be yes. But what new build mechanic is the next question. KS8 really needs to be 100% compatible with KS3, but Tudor advanced builder peices, 4x8 and 8x8 floors are just expansions of KS3, even free standing L and T interi...

Re: Date and any additional sets in the next Restock

I got an email notification of the unpainted bramble pack being in store. But after painting the curved set, I'm passing. These took me way too long. And I still want to paint black tips on every thorn. Noooooo  . Thorny Hedge 1.jpg . Thorny Hedge 2.jpg . And I have several other hedges anywa...

Re: Date and any additional sets in the next Restock

The forest transition banks seem to be very popular - I have been debating them for awhile vs. waiting for my Wildlands swamp banks instead. I don't currently have any but I have a full Dreadhollow and a couple extra forest floor packs. For those of you jumping on them, do you just want them now, o...

Re: Countdown to Hero Quest!

I was tempted to back this for nostalgia's sake, but I'm leaning against it. Why? Because I still have all my old HQ books and cards (in digital format, scanned to PDF because smart) I can build the board out of DwarvenForge tiles, I have more than enough minis. I should have enough dungeon terrain,...

Re: Best places to save money on painted vs. unpainted

Update: I decided to go ahead and buy this anyway, and make it the only factory-painted pieces I'm buying, to give me a reference point for the factory paint colors when I go to paint my unpainted content.
