Re: It’s late July! It’s late July!

Good thoughts on the use of that portal Mr Rabbit! Especially like the "reoccurring through time" theme. Your wallet is at war with your imagination  OldEnt - the Ruins pieces look great! Always some of my favorite parts of DF sets. The reactions by my players when they see an area I can port i...

Re: It’s late July! It’s late July!

I thought a bit about the portals, but i am trying to cut back and that was an easy place to do so. I might have used them, but a more cave-like entrance would have excited me a lot. Both the gates also looked far too similar to me, also. I would have liked them far more different in design. This w...

Re: Poll of these options which will keep your KS7 wildlands pledge smaller

Id buy a waterfall that could be used with caverns and the cavern river. Id be interested in more scatter stuff for outdoor uses: more tree type things, burrowed holes/nests, maybe a grave cairn or markers ... stuff like that. Otherwise Ill be just adding a couple things that can be used with DoD an...

Re: Trifecta pieces

This is one of my favorite parts (sets) of CD. Aside from the 3 uses mentioned already they also offer ways to expand or narrow your build and they do it offering a standard style build or a negative space build. Need to swell that passage another square , need to swell it 2 squares, need to reduce ...

Yes, that's it. Where did you find it?
Its on the campaign page, if you scroll down the graphic for it is roughly opposite the "Deluxe caverns Deep/unpainted" pledge option.

Re: Do we need Kickstarters anymore?

Well, what other businnes model exists where people pay in full for their purchase one year and a half before delivery? Where the producers have 100% of their costs paid in advance before production even begins? Where the producers know exactly what to produce and in what quantities, so the majorit...

Re: It’s late July! It’s late July!

For any KS I back I always factor in +6 months so mentally I try to be less disappointed when target dates are not hit. Ive backed 25ish KS'ers, and 6 months is less than the average "delayed" time. Most have been for boardgames - so art development, play testing is a big factor for delay, productio...

Re: Do we need Kickstarters anymore?

I think DF needs KS to continue with their present "business model". I would love to see SMALLER overall KS (as has been mentioned in other threads). By virtue of the KS model pieces/encounters/add-ons are released over the course of a month ... which is more than annoying while trying to get a pict...

Re: The Dreadportal

I like these big stand-alone pieces, even more given that its Resin. Very happy they offered these and to everyone rather than just at the highest tier of pledge levels ... This piece would be great just in the center of a large room/cave or even outdoor environ (Doomwood Hollow) but in the end I pa...
