Re: LIGHTHOUSE

That looks great!

I know what you mean about playing well with DF. I sold some old GW terrain simply because it didn’t fit, and I can’t justify getting so much stuff. If I’m gonna be this deep on DF, I can’t also get GW terrain, cool as it is.

Re: Slight color mismatch

Resin caverns are gonna be unbeatable for a long time. That said, so far I’m really happy with what I’ve seen from KS6. And I think these pics are clarifying for me, for the first time, a big part of what I don’t like with KS2 - the color! I’ve complained a lot about KS2 factory paint, posted pictor...

Re: Eldorado Fortress

Last ones. Some nighttime shots in this batch. I really had fun illuminating the inside, which I very rarely do. And while I didn't pay any attention to the interiors while I was building, I happened to use walls and doors and windows etc. in such a way that I ended up with some pretty cool stuff in...

Re: Eldorado Fortress

A few more. As much as I like the Eldorado version with the doors, I kinda prefer the smaller fort with the larger courtyard. It just looks right to me. It's also, for the record, a "castle" made entirely from KSIII pieces (mostly). I didn't use any Castles walls or corners, etc., and I didn't use t...

Re: Eldorado Fortress

A few more... I was disappointed that the Falling Star has such a barebones central deck at first, but luckily with enough crates and cannons and other stuff placed on it, it really works (IMO).

Re: Eldorado Fortress

A few more... I like the reverse angle through the archway onto the fort itself. And ofc I meant to point out in that last series that the hapless pirate about to be eaten is one of my favorite shots. How could it not be?!

Re: Eldorado Fortress

A few more... I really do like the shark. I didn't realize it was going to be so huge! I'm glad I didn't order two now!

Re: Eldorado Fortress

Some of the details, with pirates invading, etc. Honestly, I hadn't PLANNED to go full pirate. You never go full pirate. But -- I don't know, the water trays were just sitting there, and I really wanted to do a harbor town, and then Nolzur made these cannons, and then I saw the Blood and Plunder min...
