Re: Since KS6 Delivery could be a while...

Encounter 1 is all that arrived in my first wave, which isn't much, but it does have an interesting (if sparse) selection of new cavern pieces. Naturally, I ran out of floors before I even had all the pieces out of their plastic bags. So, I turned to KSII to fill out at least one room (this by the w...

Re: What fresh hell are you getting?

I got a dozen light panels. I'm usually the hold out for non-tile DF stuff, but decided that illuminated lava is just the right kind of epic spectacle (if it all works right). Plus, I saved a lot of $$ with Unpainted this time, so it feels like a win. Time will tell, but I'm not stressed one way or ...

Re: Wildlands Survey

Alright, I threw in a "Blue Water Tiles (4x4 like the Magma Rivers) & Waterfall" request in the survey. I also tried to explain why the encounter system bugs me, but I might have started to ramble... :? For the thing I liked that I'd like to see again, I said Erin's painting demonstration - Having t...

Re: It’s late July! It’s late July!

I’m hoping to receive some of the KS6 pieces before they close the pledge manager for KS 6.66. It might convince me to buy more pieces if I really like the new caverns pieces (I.e. trifecta, passages etc.( Yeah, I haven't confirmed my KS6.66 pledge yet for that very reason. Messing around with the ...

Re: Splitting Wildlands? Great idea!

Interesting. My 6.66 PM total is within 150 bucks of my CD pledge (both unpainted, and a bit under 2 grand each). For that, I'm getting everything I was after (Encounter 3, Lava River, Light panels, extra Volcano, etc), and maybe around 7~8 sq. ft. of coverage. Focused but Robust 8-) If the painting...

Re: 3rd Annual Seattle Forum Member Game

Looks like a great night (knight?).

Fantastic paint, Feymous! Truly inspiring - I really like the aesthetic you've created.

I've been going all out on Terrain and Monsters, but really need to get back to character models and dungeon dressing to complete the scene.

Thanks for the pictures. :D

Re: It’s late July! It’s late July!

Wow. Reinforces my decision for all unpainted. Agreed! My little lot (Entrance Set) arrived an hour ago - So Crinkly! Ran out of floors immediately, tho. Trifecta pieces are great, but the real MVPs are the convex and concave pieces - EC-601 & EC-602. Mind bending possibilities. November/Dec can't ...

Yep, Purple is a great Accent color - using it as a base is ...daring (verging on comical).

maybe Secret Weapon's Soft Body Black Wash would straighten that out?

edit - I do like the Teal.

Re: Splitting Wildlands? Great idea!

Hmmmmmmmmm. I'm thinking I probably don't have enough behind-the-curtain insight to really say, but... While larger KSs offer something for everyone (potentially), isn't that exactly what bankrupted TSR in the 90's? They flooded the market with all those different settings (Forgotten Realms, Dark Su...
