Re: Castle Builds

Nice! To me, it does look like a protected library/armory/treasury of some kind. Or maybe a grand fortified residence, perhaps for a lord, minister, or an ambassador. Maybe even a prison for persons of import, waiting to be ransomed. I started with the Lord's Keep in mind, then just kind of went cr...

Re: Post Delivery Thoughts

Agreed. The walls do go up DAMNED fast. Which is one of the advantages of this set. While I was pulling City Builder out last night I was amazed at how slow it suddenly felt to have to slot in each peg on the corner. :) Still... love me some City Builder. And REALLY loving the new city builder piece...

Re: Castle Builds

Aw, thanks, man! Photographing castles is going to be TRICKY. These are easily going to be the largest, most fully three-dimensional DF layouts ever. Even with the cities, which were tricky enough, I could usually arrange things to favor one perspective - so my photos could capture the layout effec...

Castle Builds

Figured I would start a thread for folks to post their castles, keeps and alternate builds. I'll get us started with a little shell keep I was playing around with tonight. Or perhaps it's a protected library? Or some sort of temple? Made with mostly Castle Builder, minimal props and the Streets and ...

Re: Facebook Image Test

To that point, Josh, the image I shared was from ANOTHER friend and I have no idea how it was tagged (Public or Private)

And thanks! My build, but I have a marketing guy that plays with us and he loves to shoot the sets. :)

Best solution to have the embed plugin installed, making it a breeze to share content from FB and such - https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/exte ... ediaembed/
Done at the FORUM server level, right?

Re: Post Delivery Thoughts

Sorry, all. I will try to load pics here. I've had a HELLUVA time in the past doing it, thus, FB.

I am a creative director and do a ton of social media, so FB really is an easy solution for me. I'll try to carve out some time at lunch today to post. :)

that guy has the personality of a gnat

Wow, man. That was rude. I mean, I didn't think every teacher I had in high school was Don Draper either, but Elye is SUPER talented (he's one of the sculptors) and did a GREAT job of explaining things. A little respect, eh?
