Re:Anyone else get there's yet?!

I wish! Newark is about 20 minutes from me...which is a far cry closer than San Jose, California!

Re:Anyone else get there's yet?!

<t>I just got my notification! Funny thing is, the FedEx site says the package was initiated on the 11th and is estimated to arrive today but there is no other history on the package (there's usually notices that it went to their hub in Tennesee, then arrived at their station in Newark, etc). So may...

Re:Listed Game Tiles price seems high?

<t>You have to consider the fact that having the sets hand painted is a BIG part of the cost of each set, regardless of what they're made of. I would imagine there were nearly no cost savings at all when comparing the resin to dwarvenite sets (maybe a slight difference because the dwarvenite set has...

Re:Ogre's Den: Considering Purchase

<t>My understanding is that at the time it had limited appeal- unlike other DF sets, this is a single piece, as opposed to being a modular set. Unlikely to ever be put back on the market. Its mostly a collector's piece, rarely seen even in set-ups of the most admired collectors on the forums.<br/> <...

Re:Music for the Game....

I've only used it a couople of times but the DMDJ ipad app is pretty great. It uses a lot of layered sounds (background noise & music) with different intensities, plus weather effects as well. None of it has the "loop" issue where you hear where the track begins and ends.

Re:So... let's talk about "October"

<t>I'm very glad to hea this massive project is going according to plan. This is the longest I've ever waited for a birthday present (my KS funds were a birthday present back in April).<br/> <br/> While the kid in me wants my sets NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW, I've got my son's birthday next week and ComicCo...

Re:So... let's talk about "October"

<t>As with many Kickstarters (most notably the Reaper KS), my guess is that the simplest orders will go out first, likely to be backers who don't qualify for the stretch goals. Last would likely be the folks who overpledged for extras, combination orders of both painted AND unpainted sets, etc. From...

Re:Better storage is not wanted. It is needed.

<t>I think the best bet is to find a solution that suits your specific needs. Some people travel for their games and would want something more flexible (taking only the pieces they have need for the night's session), while others only play at home and would want something clear and easily organized,...
