Re: Burrows for Lagomorphs

Apologies to all for my slowness, behold! Figures in burrows: Medium figures, such as the brave archer and his prisoner friend, fit great. Larger figures still work but not as organically. I would like to thank my friend, "X" for lending me some of his minions for the photography. As you can tell, h...

Re: Store restock average?

Restocks tend to occur once or twice a year. DF is good about issuing newsletters when it finally happens. They run a lean stock and aren't big enough to parcel out deliveries along during the year so it is bursty. Popular things get re-ordered regularly, but it is a 6-8 month cycle between order to...

Re: Mini Kickstarter - Discussion, wants, suggestions, etc

I wonder if dwarvenite would lend itself to articulation. The Lego Friends figures are waist-articulated which lends itself to standing/sitting, but they're also much bigger and use a stiffer harder plastic.

Re: Burrows for Lagomorphs

I'll be updating with some action shots later this week. We played today and noted a few things. My players loved the burrows and the flight stand. Burrows works pretty well as a gridded space, but the ramps are tricky. The flat stone area on the ramps is really the only good place to stand miniatur...

Re: A warning from History.......

I rather like the idea of providing "alternate build" pieces along with interesting Adventure Pack as dressing. Covers two markets: new basics, and new dressing. Using the Core/Packs/Adventure pack break-out system means maximizing interest in individual pieces instead of KS5 where pieces of high i...

Re: Full jade Temple -- and Temple Acid Bath!

The bright green LEDs make it hard to show how incredible Jade really is due to CCD blow-out. Your shot with the LED backlighting a piece really shows why this is one of the best sets DF has produced. Cool build. I see the gaps in the diagonal walls drove you nuts too... those quarter pillars aren't...
