Re: Number of Sets Owned

How do you store that much? 180 sets seems like too much for rubbermaid tubs... It was mentioned in another thread that it may be interesting to other people if I posted what my DF collection consists of. I'm kind of embarrassed to post it but here goes: Resin: (95 Sets, 58 "Pieces") 3 018-DPT Short...

Re: A Suggestion for the Kickstarter #5

Interesting accessory pieces: spiked floor traps, pits (maybe a floor tile with the center fallen through, new doorways and archways and entrances to hidden passages... Statues or carvings. Also, anything that can help dungeons become more 3D or that can be used for larger open areas - staircases, e...

Re: Erinthor Mountains Painting Question

Correct ... we won't be offering any new paints for the Castles or Mountains (they aren't needed) but we will likely do another painting guide if you guys liked the last one. Did you like it? Was it useful? We won't be able to make one for several more months, but if you guys found it useful, we wi...

Re: Dwarvenite DF outdoor tiles & accessories

I wouldn't want a dwarvenite forest, but I could picture a dwarvenite tree as a centrepiece that towers over the rest of the forest, perhaps with a hollow trunk, or as an entrance to a dungeon-like maze, where the passage walls are earth and roots like the inside of a tree. I don't think a fully rea...

Re: August Pre-Sale: What's the damage?

No pre-sale stuff for me, I got plenty during the PM. The pre-sale did do one thing for me... it reminded me that next year is still so far away. Did you see they added the 1" extension set to the pre sale this week? I saw that but couldn't see the use of it? Don't they include these with the tower...

Re: August Pre-Sale: What's the damage?

I was supposed to not buy anything, but I ended up with this stuff for my count's castle base pledge: 2x small tower battlements 2x spacer cubes (to make 3x with my base pledge) 1x ramparts cren (to make 2x with my base pledge) 1x floor pack shipped to relatives in the US to avoid shipping costs to ...

Re: A Suggestion for the Kickstarter #5

I'd just get rid of the stretch goals. In KS4 they didn't seem to serve any purpose -- most of the pledges that included stretch goals had an increased price, and all of the stretch goal pieces with maybe one or two exceptions were available as add-ons. I never had the impression the stretch goals w...

Re: Pre-Order Live!!!!

I don't think the presale interface supports shipping outside the US. dwarvenforge.com/ks4 says that international buyers should contact them by email. One minor pre-sale bug. I was trying to price out some potential orders including shipping, and my order ended up with: Canada Ground Shipping up to...

Re: [Kickstarter] Wizard's Apprentices Fantasy Figures from Midlam Miniatures

Is it common for metal miniatures to contain lead? I like a couple of them but since they say "PLEASE NOTE: The miniatures are cast in metal (which may contain LEAD)." I was so glad the day Ral Partha move further away from old lead minis. I was so tired of minis with blunted noses and other lost de...
