Re: So now that KS5 is over...any let down?

Smogma, are you a collector (one who buys to complete a collection of all DwF pieces) or a user, who wants the pieces to play on? The Least Weasel Totus KS Delenda Sunt I'd be classified as a 'user'. There are tons of pieces I have little or no interest in. Definetly not a "gotta catch 'em all" typ...

Re: KS6 Forces of Nature way to soon discussion

I'm sure it could be done

You'd have something like the:
New Alternate Sculpts Basic Caverns Encounter
Cavern Mine Encounter
Crystal Caverns Encounter
Water Caverns 2 Encounter
Drow themed Encounter
Advanced Builder Caverns Encounter
Etc...

Re: So now that KS5 is over...any let down?

Well, I'm more talking about being able to get pieces reasonably, without buying a bunch of stuff you don't want. Example: I have wanted (14x) of the 4x4 round pool tiles since KS1. The only way to get it back then was in the Chamber of Sorrows pack. I'm not sure what the cost was, but you had to bu...

You know Blue Prophet, the #1 thing I want to see in KS6 are your 2x4-ish Cavern tiles, here:

Re: KS6 Forces of Nature way to soon discussion

I'm at the point now where I'm *happy* a set is produced that I don't want. I breathe a sigh of relief and say "OK, I can pass on that". Having said that, I agree it would be a mistake to make things like dwarvenite trees. Not only would I personally have no interest in them, but I would be afraid l...

Re: So now that KS5 is over...any let down?

I spent $1,820 on add-ons only. I'm not even worried about stretch goals, because I didn't care for them. Most add-ons are pretty great. Perfect example is the LED Classic Walls. 4 Walls. 4 Torches. I wouldn't do anything differently with the pack. I'm glad other LEDs weren't included to increase th...

Re: Doomroller and Sister, (and exclusivity, force walls, and capstone logic)

Thankfully, I've mostly been spared the stress of 'exclusive' pieces. I'm interested in dwarvenite pieces that are essential for building. I'm not interested in tiny pieces like the capstones (cryptic key pedestal, sword of andronicus, riddle pillar, net, doomroller, etc.) If my order included them,...

Re: What Can We Improve for KS6?

I purchased only add-ons this time around. Most were really great, composition wise. When I'm considering add-ons, what I want is small digestible packs like 'Cages', 'Classic LED Walls', 'Ancient Pillars', the Dais packs, etc. Smaller packs like these may be as close to purchasing individual pieces...

Re: What Can We Improve for KS6?

The problem potentially facing DF is the market may not be sustainable. Every KS there has been an attrition of backers, with the exception of this one. (And that is simply because 'dungeons' will always be more popular than cities or castles.) Now, it is possible that 95% of the core audience has e...

Re: Feelings on the Shrine of Sysuul

For what it's worth, if you watch the walk-through with Nate for the Temple, he heavily implies the final stretch goal will actually be an avatar of Sysuul. He does, but in the comments he said that a Sysuul was too big for a stretch goal. Maybe it will be an add-on Monday. If I had to guess, it's ...
