Re: The Castle of Eisenwein

@Rodenbach,
Awesome! Thanks for updating this. I had come across it earlier with the images all lost and was wondering what glories I had missed. It is indeed a terrific layout, about as richly realized a classic dungeon as one could hope for.

Re: Setups/Photos That Changed How You Use Terrain

It is tragic that so many awesome images have been lost. And good on everyone who's helping find/recover them. I'm sure that lost photos (and the loss of the effort associated with posting them) has, sadly, been a factor in reducing the forum visits by some posters. I think Tom (from France) still h...

Re: City Campaign

Hey Zach, Thanks for posting this story and taking the time to include so much detail! It's a fun read, and also good food for thought re designing city adventures. It brings out some of the pitfalls and advantages of the city as a campaign setting. Seems like you're doing a great job of making use ...

Populating the City

Hi Folks! Over the past year since I got my boxes of City Builder stuff, after I painted it all (in several insane marathon sessions), I've been gradually working on populating the city: assembling a worthy throng of inhabitants to walk the cobbles. While there are innumerable PC-type minis on the m...

Re: And now for something completely different!

Cool! And yes, very Tim Burton, indeed. But unique among anything I've seen for gaming terrain. Nice find.

Re: KS5 Beans, Teaser Pics & Official Hints

Of course I'm not allowed to provide actual beans, but after a busy growing season I guess I can comment on the recipes the new beans will be good for... Instead of the epic heroes' feast of the Castle, I think everyone will be pleased to find that the latest crops will go well with both down-home m...

Re: Forces of Nature

Ooh! Another fabulous one! As always, thanks for sharing. Once again, lots of disparate details seamlessly integrated. My favorite little touch: that copper bathtub placed cozily close to the fireplace. --Those are some lovely painted minis, too. Fantastic phoenix, fire weaponry, etc. etc. I know yo...

Re: My Summer Adventure Campaign

Thanks folks! Glad you're enjoying this. It was a lot of fun to put this adventure together. …I'm afraid the climactic conclusion will have to wait a week or so though, since I'm currently zooming around getting ready for a brief vacation, and I'm not sure I'll have time to put together another long...

Re: My Summer Adventure Campaign

Thanks Kitenerd! And glad to see the windmill has some interest… it's rather a nice piece I think. So… night has fallen, but our heroes press on in the darkness after a short rest. Most of them have good night-eyes so they're not at too much of a disadvantage in the dark. Here's a look at the layout...

Re: My Summer Adventure Campaign

Those are nifty glowing plants Josh! I like the ones with the visible veins, that's a neat effect. And thanks for sharing the link to my lava tiles. That's one of my favorite terrain paint jobs. The story continues: Having followed the shadow-creature some distance into the jungle, the party stops t...
