Re: Water features (based on what we've seen on KS6.66)

Would love some sculpted white-water sections with rocks and short drops, maybe along the height of the Dias pieces or 1/2 wall height. Sculpting rapids and swells with whitecaps, it could be sweeter than the resin water. ;) If they did it right the water on the top piece could cover the seam https...

Re: Splitting Wildlands? Great idea!

My worry about splitting Wildlands up is that we would not have the first part in our hands before the next KS started and while I and the rest of the Kool-Aid drinking DF fanatics are ok with that I do not believe the majority of potential pledgers will be.

Re: Compatibility Photos

I suspect that since it will be cast in it's own color that they will restock it only when they can do a large run of peices, so if they run out of a few sets but have a good amount of every other set it may take a long time for them to restock.

Re: Splitting Wildlands? Great idea!

I honestly do not want them to split Wildlands into two KS but if they do March and September would be the best months IMO. If they do not split it then I hope it goes live in March.

Re: Was KS6.66 successful?

1,855 backers not bad for a terrain environment that is not used often. then, I really hope it gets used more often now. (not really aimed at kodiakbear) Personally, I don't see this as niche - I see it as Cataclysmic/apocyliptic terrain. This is grand Third Act stuff, the end of the line, the deep...

Re: Magma River Wall End Q?

Has anyone asked why isn't the Magma River Wall End piece in two parts? The arch separate to the river, so it matches previous kickstarter pieces / sets? My guess is they did not want it falling down all the time, but they could make it like pole accessors then you could take it off and change out ...

Another point I think is important is that they could spread out almost ALL of the videos and pictures work if they just postpone the next KS a few months and do it all ahead of time
Do not forget GENCON, they want to be able to show stuff at Gencon for more sales also.

At times they seem to let emotions triumph over business sense and logics
True, passion is the double edge sword of life and thank the deities the DF team has it, even if it can get them in trouble once in a while.

Re: Was KS6.66 successful?

KS6.66 now has more backers than KS4 Castles did so that's another sign of success.
