Re: Epix Haven

Nice, just grabbed a free standing tower. Had thought about these, but "normal" price was too rich for a dabble. I like the tower as a standalone item that does not need to match the rest of my DF.

Re: Encounter X is the best encounter because...

Depending on whether I go for bleeping everything (unlikely) or just pick and choose, I know I have a hankering for the encounters 5, 8 and 9. Ruins so easy to integrate with existing dungeons, and 8 and 9 have some cool features and vertical elements. Hags Den (11) is on the next tier for me at thi...

Re: Is it Just me, or is Anyone Else a Bit Disappointed?

Mold erosion over time happens. What matters most is the degree or erosion important to the part. Loosing a few tenths or even a thousandth of an inch on a Dwarvenite Piece will not matter. In the industry I work in, it likely would affect fit and function. We have to hold tolerances to a few thousa...

The visibility of DF on Critical Roll, big convention streams, etc... its a new world for DF.
This and the exposure at GenCon and more will most likely spike the backer numbers and dollars.

Re: Storage issues

Szabran, I've had my sets in drawers for so long I can't tell you how many there are. I think I got 10x of KS1. tHey all fit in 1.5 flat drawers. Lets just say they hold a LOT and you can see it all. Do check the drawers you are looking at - be sure they can handle the weight. i'm told some of the ...

Re: Please watch the videos!

The videos are major selling points. They have been able to highlight features and aspects of the pieces that the pictures just do not do justice to. They need to make them even more prominent and ensure that folks coming to the campaign page are enticed to check out at least one of the videos. Righ...

Re: how encounters will be sold

My guess is that they will take a good look at things and then be willing to sell based on the prepackaged boxes that they have. A couple of the encounters all came in one box, but a couple more had multiple boxes with goodies in each.

Re: End Totals

We are going for a reasonable 2.78 million $ Would love to know what extra funds they raise in the PM for each previous KS I have a feeling that they will be raising more than usual in the PM this time since a lot of folks will be waiting till late to see what is unlocked and at that point, there i...

Re: Dwarvenite vs Resin

But then we have to deal with the nature of resin and how much easier it is to damage it. I know recent resin compounds are better, but they still have issues with fragility compared to the stupid tough Dwarvenite. I mean how rough were those campaigns Stephan was running that he needed to develop t...

Re: Dwarvenite vs Resin

Resin is fine for low volume production but faces a lot of issues if you try to ramp up. Since the Resin has to cure and that can take many hours to a day, you have to create more molds if you need more volume and that has a cost as well. Pretty sure the injection molded? Dwarvenite has a minimal se...
