Re: Airbrush

I airbrushed my stone CBS sets, and think they came out pretty well. A lot faster than hand painting the stone details.

Re: small tower fit

I think that the small towers should cover the gaps on the upper two inches of the corner wall (I assume that is what you mean). I see no reason why the cutout corners shouldn't have had slightly smaller cutouts for this reason, they still would be plenty accessible from a game play standpoint. I u...

Re: Pareto Efficiency and KS5

We really did try to make this less complex and less expensive, we really did at the outset...but I suppose, as that was almost a year ago when we started...we got carried away. So many creative minds working together over the course of so long yields a lot of stuff...oh believe me, we left A LOT o...

Re: What Can We Improve for KS6?

I personally think the Encounters were a noble idea, but ultimately failed in providing a reasonable entry point to the DF hobby for new backers and returning backers alike. KS1 and 2 were much more relatable for newcomers in the way stretch goals were managed, how add-ons were incorporated into cor...

Re: Advice on paint brands and equipment down under?

I use Golden Acrylics, available at artists supply. Works great. Hey bernyleung (or any other painting vets out there), I wanted to pick your brain a bit abt the painting. I am a complete novas at this type of thing. I have looked at the videos online and think i can handle it but getting the right...

Re: Lever chamber confusion: single-wall curved piece?

There's a center insert that fits between the openings:

"Valuted Large Curve with Large Curve Wall Solid Insert" - the insert is the piece you're looking at that's missing from the main picture but included in the two smaller inset pictures.

Re: We need your input-KS5

Pretty solid pass for me on any sort of texture, keep it flat and simple. Credit card thickness or less will be great. You can always add your own texture on top. ~iPaint  My patience is shot from missed sleep. What part of the same texture as the current floor tiles did you not understand. :...

Re: Future Livestreams

Yep, wired connections are always more reliable than WiFi - I imagine all that cabinetry, lighting, and the building itself could cause a loss of WiFi signal over a large distance. They audio quality was great, though. If WiFi is the only option, I'd recommend any non-essential devices be turned off...

Re: New passage set enhancement suggestion

The fewer pieces that have magnets, the better imo. Magnets drive up cost, reduce overall aesthetics, and run the risk of needing to be reglued every so often.

I'd wait to see what the video shows us for how these pieces look and can be used.
